Ingredients:

a sterile, isotonic, buffered solution that contains boric acid, sodium borate, potassium chloride, and sodium chloride; preserved with polyaminopropyl biguanide (0.00003%) and edetate disodium (0.025%).

Saline Solution is NEVER to be used for soft or gas permeable contact lens disinfection. DO NOT use Saline Solution for the disinfection or storage of contact lenses. No longer a bargain

I have been buying Up & Up saline solution for a long time (ten years, maybe longer) and always appreciated the opportunity to get a quality product at a budget-friendly price. So maybe I was spoiled, right? Did I think that the good times could go on forever? Imagine my chagrin to discover a few days ago that this product is no longer budget-friendly. At one fell swoop Target upped the price by a couple of bucks, which amounts to an inflationary spiral of roughly 25% for those willing to pay. No, thanks. In future I'll be shopping elsewhere for saline solution.

A simple product that does what it needs to do. But, it is ridiculous how the price jumped from $4.99 to $7.19 overnight. How does water plus salt plus a bit of chemicals skyrocket in price like this? At this higher price, it may be time to switch to a different national chain.

needs clearer information of intended use

does not disclose in a clear enough manner on the outside of the packaging that it is only meant for rinsing lenses and not storing them. very frustrating to realize just before going to bed requiring me to leave the house and go purchase an alternate lens solution actually meant for storage.

This is the Up & Up brand of Saline and it works great. It does not burn when going in the eye. It works super to rinse off contacts.
