Im a die hard samsumg fan who buys every flagship ultra/plus 5g device every year except the flips and folds so naturally i pre-ordered the ring as i do all my other devices and not even a 8 or 9 months in my battery went to crap and i was charging it 4 to 5 times a day from almost a week and now it wont even charge period. I contacted support several times to try and warranty it out which was pointless cause i kept getting denied and/or hung up on so i will not be getting or recommending any future versions.

What immediately impressed me was the battery life. I get a solid six to seven days of use before needing to charge. The charging case is small and convenient, making top-ups incredibly fast and simple. This long battery life means I can wear it nearly 24/7 for continuous, uninterrupted data collection. The health metrics it captures are fantastic. The sleep tracking is excellent, giving me detailed insights into my sleep stages, movement, and vital signs like heart rate and skin temperature. But it's the all-in-one Energy Score that I rely on most. It takes my sleep, activity, and heart rate data and synthesizes it into a single, easy-to-understand number that truly helps me plan my day and manage my wellness. Seamless Galaxy AI Integration The intelligence behind the ring is where it really shines. The integration of Galaxy AI throughout the Samsung Health app is seamless and genuinely useful. Almost exactly one year from the day I received my ring I started having battery issues. The battery does not even charge anymore. Perhaps the 2nd Gen will be improved. The color does not hold up well to everyday use I am a full samsung guy, but this ring has failed me

This ring works well and is extremely accurate with the data it generates. There was basically no pairing or set up. The Samsung health app immediately recognized and paired with the ring. Battery runs about 4 days. Important tip: order one size up. My finger is a 10 and the 11 fits perfectly.

I bought it over the Oura ring, wanting to have everything Samsung. Black size 10. I've had it for over a year, and the battery only lasts for 36 hours instead of 7 days. It has lost some of its black color, and a shiny finish shows in parts of it. The software that it uses is great. I do enjoy checking my sleep, heart rate, breathing rate, daily step count, and the other functions. But the quality of the ring itself has disappointed me.

Overall, the process to size and order the ring was very streamlined. The ring is great for when I don't want to or cannot wear my Samsung watch. I wish that it had a bit of stretch though. Sometimes my fingers swell during sleep and I wake up with a somewhat painful constricted finger. The swelling goes away after I start moving around.
