Extremely cheap. The clip broke in half not even an hour after I bought it, as I was taking it out to try to figure out how to style it. I have fine hair, so if anything the clip was actually too thick for my hair type and should not have snapped as easily as it did. The metal piece holding the two halves of the clip just completely fell out so I can’t even return it.

If you are looking for a banana clip, this one had a spring! It's great. I have fine wavy hair and this clip is wonderful for me. I think if your hair is very thick this type of clip wouldn't be the best but for me it's a keeper. The spring helps keep it tight and it's a fun different stylish look! Love it.
