Love the size for long hair but these don’t have an extra row of teeth to help hold the hair like other clips do, and I’m finding that my hair slips out of the hold. I have long but medium-thick hair so these may just need to be for coarser or thicker hair.

Grips and hold hair in place like no other! I definitely would recommend this product and would purchase it again.

Holds hair well and comfortably. There's that happy medium; not too tight or loose. This clip is perfect.

The package says they’re for thick hair, but the springs aren’t strong enough to keep the hair in one spot. After 30 minutes the clip is already falling off my head.

I ordered this online and I was sent a used item with a claw already clipped and used. This is NOT the first time Target has done this. I've received used lipsticks, used facial creams, etc and it is not acceptable. I usually receive my money back and am told to keep the item, SO basically target is using their customers as trash dumps and disposals. I wanted to receive a quality item, not to dispose of their used receiving items. DO BETTER!!! Other than that, i do like these. I've bought them in the past and they hold my long hair perfectly. BUT I recommend ordering from Amazon or buying in person. Targets 'generous' return policy is dubious.

Are these a joke? These are not for hair that's ACTUALLY thick - the hinge on these aren't even remotely strong enough to hold hair with any real weight (you know, like THICK hair), but the opening would be too large to be useful to anyone with finer hair. I'm not one to 'style' my hair with a claw clip, and really just needed them to keep my hair out of my way through showers and my skincare routine They've not held my hair through either once, and it's not like mine's crazy long or thick (about 7" past my shoulders and a large hairband can go around 4x with a bit of room to spare). To be clear, it's not like I'm winding a big tight bun and expecting a piece of plastic to hold that thing - all I do is gather a high ponytail, twist it a few times, then fold it down and secure it to the back of my head. It comes loose and falls to one side or the other, getting in my way every. Single. Time. The only way it holds is to actually secure the ponytail with a hair band so it has help and NOT fold it, but then I have to use 2 - 1 to secure the pony to my head and one to keep the ends together so they're not falling over my shoulders and getting in my way. I just can find an actual use for them.

Thin and flimsy, not built very solid.

These are my favorite hair clips for twisting my hair up. They fit my hair and my daughters’ hair perfectly. I use them when I shower and don’t plan on washing my hair, when washing my face, doing my makeup, or just keeping my hair up. They are gentler than a ponytail, but firm in their hold for normal tasks. I have thick, fine wavy hair, not coarse.

They're cute and look to be decent quality but I returned them because they couldn't hold up all my hair. Would have been good for a half do.

These hair clips hold my hair so well!! I have a lot of hair and because of the thin prongs, it almost acts like Bobby pins and holds my hair back so well. These are definitely my new go to every day hair clips!

I love love LOVE these clips. I have fine hair, and these are the clips that I reach for routinely. They hold my hair in the shower, while working out, or out and about for hours. I just wish they had more colors to choose from because I would buy every single color.

Too flimsy for my thick straight hair. My hair slipped out and it didn’t hold. Would work better for someone with thinner hair. Good quality item just didn’t work for me. Returned.

Favorite hair clip. Great hold and flexible too!

I have long wavy hair and this clip holds it very securely and comfortably. It also looks very pretty and classic and goes with everything. If you have VERY thick hair you may need a bigger clip. This is a medium size not a jumbo. What I like best is that it opens very wide so I can get more of the hair across my head, which helps hold the twist better.

I did not like these. They would hit one spot in my head and rub it raw no matter how I adjusted them. Very uncomfortable. I have very thick hair and it didn’t do too hot for me sadly. But they are very cute.

Seems to be great quality but doesn’t hold up thick hair.

these are the first claw clips i’ve found that didn’t snap a single tooth or unscrew itself!! (knock on wood) they’re super flattering and will fit with anything. i don’t have super full hair, but i notice that it could definitely fit more if i had it, so i think these are good clips for if you’ve got thicker hair.
