    Broke after first use

    I bought this because of the cost-effectiveness. It broke after the first use. The part where you put the battery in will not close and will not function. All I did was leave it on my counter. I would recommend just getting something higher quality.

    Dies after 1-2 uses. Do not recommend!

    I used to swear by this!! Unfortunately, the last 3 I have purchased have died after 1-2 uses. I purchased two in the summer of 2025 (both stopped working after two uses each). Then the 3rd within the last month and that one is now dead and won't work with battery replacement on any of the three. Time to find something new! I tried to reach out to Target customer care and they said there was nothing they can do. Do not recommend anymore unless they figure out their manufacturing error.

    Poor quality again from Schick

    I’ve been using Schick razor and refillable blades since I can remember. Lately the QA/QC seems to have fallen. Earlier this year the battery razor/trimmer I purchased quit working within a couple months of purchase and now the latest batch of razor refills I purchased 2 of the 4 blades were bad. Both were extremely rough to shave with and one cut my skin. After I use the remaining two blades, I’ll be searching for a new razor brand.

    poor quality lately

    something has changed with these razor refills. the last 2 packages I've bought the razors are dull straight out of the packaging. The blades used to last at least a couple weeks but now I have to change them much more often. I will probably switch brands.

    It’s works well enough but after about 10 uses the electric part stops working even after you change the battery. This is now the second one I’ve gotten and I made sure to keep it out of the shower when I was not using it in case that was causing the issue, but it actually lasted for less time than the first.

    Motors will stop working

    Works well for a month, I like many in the comments also used this for the past decade but I will not buy new ones every couple months when my the one before this one lasted me YEARS! (I only used the trimmer). I would not recommend this.

    Used to be great

    I’ve been using this product for over a decade now, I’m talking since middle school, and this use to be my one and only razor. The past few years, I’ve noticed a decline in the durability & functionality. My biggest annoyance is the razor constantly popping off. If I hit a little curve/angle even slightly wrong it completely pops off. In my personal experience, this used to be a minor issue. Would only happen on occasion and wasn’t that big of a deal. Lately, it happens constantly. It’s gotten to the point where it’s becoming unusable (and this happens with every replacement) Second issue is the trimmer giving out after only a short amount of time. Back in the day, I used to only have to replace the entire trimmer maybe once a year. Now it’s 2-4x because they will not last. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. Not sure if they changed the manufacturing or what, but unfortunately I will have to move on to a different razor.

    Covered in disgusting yellow stuff.

    I just opened the box to my razor and found it completely covered in this mysterious yellow goop all over the outside AND inside the trimmer. It smells disgusting. I don't understand why it's like this when the box was closed. Hopefully, I can get a refund because this is disgusting.
