Schlage Accent Satin Nickel Lever and Single Cylinder Deadbolt 1-3/4 in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was forced to replace the knob/lever and deadbolt on two entry doors when a tenant didn't return keys. The building codes changed since I last did this so I needed to find a nice looking set at a reasonable price that met the new code stating that the inner lever had to be single action. This means the inner lever had to unlock as it was pushed down without anyone having to turn the lock button. This deadbolt and lever set from Schlage met all my requirements. It was also high quality and the locking mechanism was well oiled unlike some of the sets I have recently purchased.

I bought 2 of these lever deadbolt sets that are keyed the same for our front and back doors. I can easily open them without hurting my hand. The deadbolt is smooth and easy to turn with the knob or the key. The satin nickel finish and curved handle are stylish. It looks great on my leaded glass hurricane impact door. I have always used Schlage locks on all my houses through the years and I have never been disappointed. The finish holds up and looks great for years. I highly recommend Schlage brand handles, knobs, and locks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation instructions were so difficult. I knew what I had to do (by looking at the lock i took off). There needs to be a parts key. Why do I have two long bols left? They do not fit in any screw holes. Overall, easy installation without looking at the directions. This is my first time installing a door knob.
