Schlage B-Series Antique Brass Brass Single Cylinder Deadbolt (Case of 4)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to change the lock on a previously purchased Schlage front door set which included the longer handset and the deadbolt as a separate component. I thought being the same brand, that it would be an easy switch. But the package did not include instructions and the deadbolt was not exactly the same. So it was not as easy and seamless as I would have hoped.

Easy to follow instructions and installation. It's easy to see that the product is made of high-quality components. The functionality of this deadbolt beats all of our previous brands by far. After putting a reinforced strike plate I upgraded the deadbolt to a better quality. The density and weight of the installation hardware was obvious. I have other Schlage products and have always been satisfied. The old deadbolt was NOT a Schlage.
