Description
Incredibly dangerous – and very patient: the lava scorpion lurks well hidden in the rugged rocks of the lava world, waiting for its victims, and is ready to attack at all times. Its shell is made from hard, cooled lava stone, but liquid hot lava is bubbles inside of it. If an enemy gets too close to it, it attacks them without warning with his red-hot, ultra-strong pincers. If its prey doesn’t hold still, it will feel a burning sting. In combat against multiple attackers, the lava scorpion also uses its huge stinger, which it can swing around like a terrible club in all directions. Because it can defend itself so well, it fears nothing and no one. So it always claims, at least. Because there is one creature it is in fact secretly afraid of: the ice dragon, with its icy breath, is a formidable enemy – and might blow the lava scorpion into an ice statue! The schleich® figures are all modelled with great attention to detail and provide educationally valuable playtime.

Awesome Scorpion!
My son, age 8, loves all of Schleich animals and creatures. This is one of his new favorites. The jointed stinging tail that can move is especially cool.

Dad Toy?!
Got this as part of my daughter's birthday Schleich package. Not going to lie this is MY favorite to play with when she asks me to play. Super cool toy with intricate design. She must have over 100 different Schleichs now and I have no problem continuing to invest into these!

Awesome creature
This guy is so cool… his clear lava stinger and claws.. the details are great. His pieces that articulate move in the perfect ways. My 8yo loves to play with this guy. These toys are so sturdy and his tail has been taken off and put back on about 1000x. Still pops back in and moves just as it’s supposed to. The quality is so amazing to me. He was our first of the lava eldrador creatures! Impressed.
