If you are travelling on anything other than a completely smooth road, do not purchase this item. Had this mounted on my handlebars, and when you squeeze the adjustment together, it hits the power button which then turns off or on the phone. What is worse though is when I rode my bike into the driveway which has about a 1/2 inch lip from the road, the phone came flying off... 1/2 inch. Then during one of my rides I rode over a sewer cap that had maybe a 1/4 inch lip from the roadway, and the phone came flying off the holder as well. To resolve this I now secure the phone to the holder using rubber bands to keep it in place, and when I go over any sort of bumps I hold on to my phone. All this is not exactly a ringing endorsement for this item. If you are doing ANY sort of off road riding, or anywhere with uneven surfaces, do not even consider this phone holder, it is useless on anything other than a perfectly smooth road.

It breaks beyond repair going over a paved path with some bumps. This is my second one. Will not ever buy this junk again.

The side grip placement hold your phone in a way that calls the emergency SOS on your iPhone. I accidentally called emergency while biking. It also doesn’t hold your phone well in a bumpy ride and my phone unknowingly fell while biking. I had the backtrack my ride to find my phone. Pure junk, DO NOT BUY, returned.
