Description
It's time to put a stop to weed-infested lawns - take action with Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed5. This weed killer and lawn fertilizer utilizes WeedGrip™ Technology to grip onto and kill the weeds you see and the ones you don't. It controls over 50 listed weeds, including clover, dandelion, and plantain. In addition, this product feeds to thicken grass to crowd out future weeds. Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed5 when weeds are actively growing and daytime temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is wet from dew or watering, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the best results. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Do not water your lawn for 24 hours after application or apply if rain is expected within the next 24 hours. Do NOT use on Creeping Bentgrass, St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Dichondra, Carpetgrass, or Lippa lawns. One 33.95 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed5 covers 12,000 sq. ft.

We used a spreader and the lawn is getting greener and thick. I will be getting more for the front yard area. This is a must have for lawn that needs some growth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied the product to a wet lawn and there was no rain for more than 24 hours following application. I saw the weeds start to curl up and once we got a good rain, the fertilizer started greening up my Zoysia grass and will strengthen it to fill in the spots where the weeds were. I've used this in the past and it wasn't as effective if it rains too soon following application, so the time after application without rain or watering is very important. Great product, would use again!

I had a bumper crop of weeds in my lawn and this product took care of the problem, It is very easy to apply with a spreader. You will notice results fairly quickly. I applied it just a few weeks ago and he already killed all of the weeds in my lawn in my lawn really greened up fast! It was very easy to apply, and I noticed it started working within just a couple of days. All of the dandelions have shriveled up and died. The other various weeds in the lawn also seemed to die fairly quickly and now I've got green grass and no weeds at all. It was easy to apply with my drop spreader and seem to start working in just a matter of a couple of days. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product and I will definitely be purchasing it again and using it as part of my regular lawn maintenance.

Just be sure to follow the directions closely - it does require you apply while your yard is ‘wet’ so the granules can adhere. With that in mind, it can be messy. Wear proper foot ware, pants, etc.

This spring, I used the Scotts Weed & Feed and within two days, they stared dying off, and within a week, everything was 90% gone. I'll probably do one more treatment to fully get rid of everything. It definitely works.

(One to two days) The weeds were already willted and yellow. After one week my grass looks much thicker and greener. I will absolutely use this product again.

My lawn had patches of broadleaf weeds and uneven growth, and within a couple of weeks of applying this, everything changed. The grass looks fuller, healthier, and more consistent, while the dandelions and clover are almost completely gone. It was easy to apply with a broadcast spreader, and the granules didn’t clump up or cause any issues. I followed the directions closely—making sure the grass was slightly wet beforehand so it would stick to the weeds—and that seemed to make a big difference in the results. I also appreciated that there wasn’t a harsh chemical smell. This has become a regular part of my lawn care routine. If you’re looking for something to give your yard a real boost and cut down on the weed problem without a ton of extra work, this is it.
