An amazing "requel"! A true Scream film
The directors/creative team behind this film, who are true fans of the franchise btw, really knocked it out of the park with this film. They were such a good pick for this. And you know, for all the predictable naysayers out there, this film not only legitimately honors Wes’ legacy, but it manages to easily outdo all the previous sequels. In short, this is by far the best entry since the original (and yes, I love the franchise). Should I specify more? Oh, why even? As you can, some really disliked it for whatever reasons, but fortunately many more have given it the credit it deserves.
