Q: How are they recommended to wash? Hand wash or machine wash?

A: While these are safe for the washing machine, I prefer to hand wash them with a small amount of detergent and lay flat to dry. Hope this helps!

Q: Are there "stay in place" strips on one side of the head band to help hold it in place while wearing it?

A: Big hair, there is not any sort of adhesive to keep these in position, though they have less room to move as they are a much wider band. I'm sure they would look great with a full head of hair!

I have to use Bobby pins and even then the fabric wanders. It doesn’t do damage, so that part of the advertising is true. But for me, it was not even close to an all day hold.

I use mine when I'm putting my makeup on or washing my face. They are able to be worn anytime. Exercising would be a good time to wear them also. Keeps the hair out of your face wonderfully. They are machine washable.

I would not recommend this product. I think there are many more out there that do a better job. It’s worth it to spend a couple extra dollars and avoid using this.

These hand bands are not thick by any means. They are on the thinner side, but not in a bad way. As I said it has kept it's shape and elasticity. Also easy to wash if it gets dirty. I just throw mine in with a normal load of laundry. I do let it air dry as I think the dryer would shrink it.

It holds hair back well without feeling too tight or giving me a headache, which is rare for thick headbands. The material is soft and stretchy, and it doesn’t slip around too much throughout the day. It’s perfect for casual wear, workouts, or even keeping hair out of your face while doing makeup.
