    would not buy again

    I did not realize bobby pins could be bad. I have purchased packs of inexpensive bobby pins for a dollar and never had a problem. These, however, are absolute trash. They bend out of shape incredibly easily, and once bent, they are almost impossible to use. A bobby pin’s entire purpose is to hold its shape and hold hair, and these fail at the most basic requirement. I expected better from a name brand, especially at this price point. Unfortunately, I would not purchase these again.

    Bend the wrong way

    Good length and sturdy, but they are curved so that the flat side would be on your scalp and the bumps and hooked end stick up in the air. Otherwise you would have to put them in curved away from your head. I’m confused by the design - perhaps they are meant more for updos/buns rather than pinning down sections.

    Light hold

    They stretch very easily, immediately after putting in the pins they will stretch and lose their shape. They work work for a light hold but not exactly hold in place and they do not keep their shape. The photo was immediately after putting them in and had to take them out as it didn’t hold. The comparison in not used vs used roughly one minute.

    Zero stars aren't available, but deserved.

    The worst. I bought these in January and hated them. Threw them in a junk drawer and forgot about them. I found them yesterday and decided to give them another try. Confirmed, they are indeed the worst. They feel flimsy in hand. The second you open just a tiny bit, the whole thing twists out of shape. It's hard to get more than a few hairs in-between the pin, since it won't open, so the hold is measly and weak.

    Just Don't Hold. Suggest You Get the Regular Bobby Pins

    Having thick, curly hair, I thought these might cover a longer stretch of holding than the regular bobby pins. Instead, these long bobby pins stretch out so far at the ends that they can't even hold hair. These were a waste of money. They just aren't made for hair. I love most all Scunci products -- in fact, Target sells a huge bag of multi-colored Scunci's which was one of my favorite finds. But, these long hair pins can't even be used to hold hair.

    These will cause breakage in your hair...

    Unless you want your hair to pulled & to break, then I wouldn’t buy these bobby pins! Not only do they hurt to insert on the hair, it hurts even more when attempting to take them out of your hair without your hair snapping! They are too long. They stick out against your skull making it very obvious that you are wearing bobby pins. Do not recommend.

    They don’t pin the hair well. It weights the hair down more than lifting it in place. You also can’t hid them because they are super long. Stick to the smaller ones.
