A: HI, Thank you for reaching out! Secret antiperspirants and deodorants, particularly the Invisible Solid formulations, are designed to go on dry and stay feeling dry. However, there is a possibility of staining with certain products, especially clear gel antiperspirants, which can cause a color shift on specific fabrics due to their pH sensitivity. To minimize the risk of staining: - Apply only a thin, even layer of antiperspirant/deodorant. - Rub the antiperspirant in and allow it to dry before dressing. If you do experience a stain, here are some removal instructions: 1. **For Dry Clean Only Fabric**: - Inform your dry cleaner about the type of stain. - If the stain remains after dry cleaning, it may be permanently set. 2. **For Washable Fabric**: - Wet the stained area thoroughly with water. - Wash the garment with liquid detergent using the warmest water recommended by the care label. - You may need to repeat this process to completely remove the stain. For best results, using a detergent like Tide with Bleach Alternative is recommended for removing these types of stains. Contact dermatitis.
I used this product one time and I broke out in a terrible rash under my arms, I got contact dermatitis... I bought this product because most aluminum free antiperspirants are made for people with sensitive skin and I have eczema, I thought it would be great because ive used some of their other products and I loved them. Unfortunately this left me with swelling, lumps, itchiness and burning as though I had terf burn. I wouldnt recommend this for anyone even people without sensitive skin. Ive never had any break outs under my arms ever until I used this product. It also did not provide any coverage when it comes to smell and I dont sweat that much, im aware most sensitive skin products dont have strong smells but this does absolutely nothing but cause trouble. DO NOT BUY!!!

Been using the secret coconut aluminum free for years works amazing and ONLY natural one that doesnt cause rash. The people complaining might of not detoxed or let their body get use to it. I went 2 weeks just using dial soap and collidial silver gel (silvex brand) so no smell at all during the detox. Please dont stop making this its a great product

New Formula??
I have used Secret solid deodorant for years!! Always did the job and never had a problem… until now. It simply doesn’t work anymore! I’m guessing it’s due to the “aluminum free” or they’ve changed their formula? Only smell decent for the first few hours after putting it on, and then I’m feeling like oh did I forget deodorant?? Doesn’t work for me any more!! Go back to the OG formula please.

You may be getting the product mixed with another as the product has always been aluminum free as well. Also, it may help to know that odor is caused by the bacteria that is found in the presence of sweat. While our aluminum free deodorants prevent odor, they do not prevent sweat. Finally an aluminum free deodorant that doesn’t make my pits smell like a bag of onions after a few hours!! I’m not a huge sweater/stinky usually and I’ve been trying to go aluminum free but other brands have spawned from the devils onion garden apparently. Not this! Great deodorant love it!

Disappointing
I switched to this brand from a less expensive thinking it would be better because it was higher priced but I was left disappointed. This deodorant doesn't do a great job and ever since I started wearing it, I've been musty. I was never musty woth my previous one. After taking a good shower, I put on this deodorant and was smelling musty within a few hours and I wasn't even that active. The only good thing I can say about this is that it smells good. But I don't recommend it. Costs too much to not do what it was intended to. I will be going back to the previous brand I used.

Definitely not for me!
I wanted to try an aluminum free deodorant and chose this coconut scent.. at first, it smelled good upon the initial application. But later on in the day, it was not a coconut scent after all. This is probably the worst that u have smelled and even my husband did not like how I smelled too. I need to find another aluminum free brand of deodorant because this one just wasn’t for me at all.

It works.
For those that are wanting to switch to aluminum free, this was my favorite. It did not break me out, ever. I have relatively sensitive skin. But do understand that switching to aluminum free takes TIME and adjustments. What helped me was detoxing my armpits with a clay mask, I shower twice a day. Additionally, benzoyl peroxide kills bacteria, I find using that to wash my armpits helps. Along with spraying hydrochloric acid, letting it dry, and THEN applying this deodorant. I apply twice a day. I am a very sweaty, pretty active female. But, I don’t smell with this routine! I find being sweaty trumps clogging my sweat glands with aluminum! And really, aluminum deodorants didn’t make me sweat all that much less anyhow!
