As you may already know, the level of protection provided depends on your body chemistry. Changes in diet, activity levels or stress may affect the performance of the product. It may also take your body up to two weeks to adjust to a new product before you get the fullest protection against wetness. If you aren't already, we recommend applying the product twice a day, once in the morning, and again at night, to dry clean underarms. While deodorants help reduce bacteria, they don’t reduce sweat. For some people, deodorants are enough to stop odor. For others, the need is to reduce BOTH bacteria and sweat which is what antiperspirants do. If you find that a deodorant-only product isn’t working, particularly if you are used to using antiperspirant, you may need to continue to use antiperspirant, at least occasionally, to get the protection you want.
