Horrible New Smell
I have been using this product for several years now, and loved it. Now… I cannot stand the new smell. There was nothing wrong with the older version, and the scent didn’t make me smell so… medicinal… ALL day, like the new smell does. The scent lingers.. and won’t go away. I am literally devastated as it took my years to find the perfect product for my scalp, only to have to go in search of a new product again. I even went on line in search of stock of the older version without the “better scent & new color,” only to be disappointed in my search. This new scent is NOT better. It’s essentially causing the loss of a long term customer.

The new color and smell is overpowering. The horrible smell stays in my hair. It seems like my head is itchy too. I used the original shampoo for years with no itchy. I’ll have to find a new shampoo

Not happy.
I've been using Selsun Blue for years. They have changed the color and scent. I doesn't work as good for me. I'm going to find another brand.

New Formula smells terrible.
The updated formula, now blue, is horrible. The scent lingers. Definitely not an improvement. I tossed a brand new bottle. Couldn't use it for more that a day. Looking for a different product.

New "Better Scent" is Horrible
The Selsun 2-in-1 has been updated with a "New Cleaner Formula" and "Better Scent & New Color". I used to specifically buy the Selsun 2-in-1 because it had the least objectionable fragrance. This "Better Scent" is terrible - it smells bad and lingers for many hours. I wish Selsun would bring back the original scent.

They changed the formula and it’s now a blue color with horrible scent. Hope they go back to the original otherwise I’ll be looking for a different product.

It works BUT…
It works but extremely damaging to the actual hair not on the scalp. My hair started breaking off after one wash. I have never had issues with the health of my hair until I used this product. It got the flakes off but that’s about it.

If you need an anti-dandruff shampoo then this is the product for you. I had dandruff and made it very uncomfortable in the hot season. After I used it for a while now I no longer see dandruff appearing. you need to use extra conditioner because your hair will be dry after washing this shampoo

Works As It Says But…
I’ve bought this product about 3 times now and it helps my scalp very well by taking away the dandruff, hydrating my hair/scalp and even lasts a couple of weeks after usage. However, it makes my hair smell very weird and even my family members point it out when I walk past them. It even leaves a faint smell on my pillow sheets that I just hate. So even though it’s a good product, I rather my hair smell good than anything.

Excellent Shampoo and Conditioner
I actually don't have a problem with dandruff but use the 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner occasionally to keep my scalp healthy. What I especially like is how this combination helps to manage my hair and gives it a thicker, fuller appearance.

It’s a little harsh
It’s a little harsh on the hair and e scalp but if you’re really struggling with dry acal0, itchiness and flaking then this is a good choice to get it remedied quickly.

I do not use
I do not use this as often as another 2 in 1 dandruff shampoo but when my scalp is extra dry or flakey, i turn to selsun blue for a more serious treatment.

Bought the 2-in1 accidentally
I bought the 2-in-1 accidentally when I was in a hurry; I meant to buy the Selsun Blue Itchy Scalp (with the yellow label) but wasn't paying attention. Anyway, it works fine, but 2-in-1's are just not the best for anyone with long hair like me. I think if you have short, cropped hair, you'll be fine. but I have hair down to my waist, and I need much more detangling than this can offer. Selsun Blue is pretty reliably good, but this particular version is meant for men or short haired women who don't like the 2-step process of separate shampoos and conditioners. Long-haired or tangle-prone people are going to need to follow this with a separate conditioning product.
