The review title is not an exaggeration; these headphones are genuinely everything I was looking for. First of all, the 60-hour battery life is as advertised and is genuinely impressive. They are incredibly comfortable as well. I use these when working from home, and I don't experience any discomfort at all from the earcups or the headband after wearing them all day. The features that come with the Momentum 4 are fantastic. Adjustable ANC, adjustable EQ (8 Channel), touch controls on the right earcup for literally everything you need from music to adjusting the ANC, and call controls. The app is well-built and easy to navigate without being overcomplicated, and Firmware updates and Multi-Device functionality have been flawless. The on-head detection and automatic sleep functions are very nice to have as well. Now, of course, the most important part of any headphones, the sound quality. These headphones sound better than anything else I have ever used. The bass is punchy without being overpowering, and the bass boost feature and EQ settings allow you to really dial things in based on the music you are listening to. I mostly listen to EDM and Metal, and have different EQ settings for each. Everything from the vocals to the drums and guitar is crystal clear. I have heard sounds in songs that I never noticed before, from the weirdest of basslines to crazy guitar solos and the hardest drops, the Momentum 4 does not disappoint. The included hard case is color-matched to the headphones that you buy, holds a USB-C cable, airplane headphone adapter, and also automatically shuts them down after you set them in the case. The fit and finish on these headphones is fantastic, and the construction quality is fantastic. I have had my headphones for a couple of years now and have had 0 issues to speak of, and they hardly look any different from the day I got them.

Might as well look for one of their wired headphones. I’ve spent over half the time using the wired connection. That offers a lower quality listening experience. The rest of the time is trying to keep the headphones connected to the device. I’ve only had them for 2 weeks and my power button doesn’t work and the headphones are unable to stay paired for longer than 5 minutes. At this price point it’s honestly not worth it. The quality of music and equalizer customization is amazing and not being able to use it because the headphones can’t figure out how to connect is just disappointing.

For sound and comfort, nobody can beat. The 808's will send you across the room!! Been using their products solely since the yellow head pads of the 70's as an executive at a major record company, greatest music listening brand on the planet. As far as the wireless tech connecting to devices, a few high school nerds were hired for development of this part of the process. Hope they retain the pros for the next generation.

I bought this recently to replace a cheap generic Bluetooth set of headphones I had been using and I adore using them. While it was definitely a lot more than I initially wanted to pay, it really was buying for quality. It did take some time getting used to, especially since the back of the right headphone acts as the button, but I have adored using them and seamlessly transitioning from transparent to ACN when needed. The only hiccup is that, when I move the right headphone just slightly off of my ear (because sometimes I don’t like having both completely on, and I hear people a lot better through my right ear instead of my left) it is so sensitive it pauses the music, and you can’t use the back of the right earphone to pause/play, skip, or anything else. Beyond that, I adore using them, and they still feel so comfortable after wearing them for several hours, especially after adjusting the length for the headphones so they sit around my ears comfortably.

Simple Excellence in a Headphones

Was debating between Momentum 4’s and the XM6’s — ended up going with this one since it has this an all-around user-friendliness in every category of headphones (sound, noise-canceling, build, etc.) + it was on sale for much cheaper than Sony’s xm6. I went with the copper design to add a bit of “sophistication” to my headphones. Loved the design in person. It has excellent sound quality and ANC—love the equalizer feature and the other features that are available on the app (completely free!). Though the ANC & sound quality might not be preferred by those aiming for best ANC and/or sound quality — you wanna go for Sony’s XM6 for ANC if you prefer as such. The earcups are leather-padded, which feel comfortable for hours on end. I wear glasses and have thick hair, so wearing these has felt nothing but great. However, I’d critique on one thing: my left earcup/left headphone makes a squeaky sound as it moves back n forth as I tilt my head, while my right one stays/sounds fine. I'd admit, after using them they have gotten quite dirty in regards to the fingerprints and marks. Plus the headband had gotten some brown stuff on it, but I dont know how, making it hard to clean but i cleaned it. Overall, excellent headphones for my needs!

Absolutely amazing. Previously had the top of the line Sony's which despite price only worked intermittently and Sony wouldn't take back to repair. These are by far and away the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn, and I didn't realise how important that was. Sound quality is absolutely mega again, based off this product I'll be Sennheiser for life everything else is just as good and a bonus, battery life, aesthetics etc.

The sound and cancellation noise it is great. My only concern is the size of the cushions pads, I can not use the headphones for long periods. It wlll be great to have to opportunity to enlarge them.

Hello, I have been using the Sennheiser momentum 4 for over a month and the experience has been disappointing, but it has made me realize that all this time I have been enjoying poor audio quality. I spent some time saving to buy these headphones that are not exactly cheap because I have always believed that something good and expensive is better than something cheap and bad, then the day came to try these headphones, super fast delivery, 100% I bought them with the dongle because I was mainly going to use it on the PC, that was a very bad idea. Now after a month I give you my experience with them, it has been terrible, very good audio and build quality but the software and buttons are terrible, the dongle and its implementation are terrible too, and when I try to switch from the dongle connection to bluetooth, another headache, to the point that I do not want to use them with bluetooth because it is a headache to reconnect with the dongle. I let time pass because I thought that with the passing of days I would be able to understand how it works but that is not the case, that is why I would like to be able to return it and request a refund, either partial or total.

I bought these headphones as a current owner of the Bose nc700 headphones. They're both around the same price point but I figured I'd try something new.. plus these headphones have a far better battery life. The audio quality is excellent, but overall the experience is much more difficult than the bose. Ive only owned them for 12 hours but I've already had issues connecting and disconnecting from my phone and laptop. There are too many commands available via the headset touch screen which leads to the wrong command being issued accidentally. You can turn commands off.. but its either all or nothing. I found the adaptive ambience setting to be a bit hit and miss. Bluetooth connection between my laptop and headphones resulted often in stuttering and drop-outs in certain circumstances. I am hoping that some of these issues can be resolved as the headphones physically are of good quality... they are just being let down by the software trying to do too much and getting it wrong!

Got the Momentum 4 TW and really loved the detailed sound and wanted to try the Momentum 4 Over ears. Have the Bose QCII which are really quite good, and the Sony WH1000M4 which i loathed and gave away. So wanted an upgrade. Truly better than I expected. Much much better. I care about sound delivery more than the other features (ANC is still better than others I have anyway), I am not disappointed and look forward to each time I use them.

Continually disconnect from devices and getting them to reconnect is often an exercise in futility. The suggested fixes require them to be connected to the app but as connectivity is a problem thats useless Way over priced given the faults Manual turning on etc works rarely I should have read the reviews as I discovered that the issues I’m having are common Returning mine for a refund tomorrow
