Q: how is it vegan, when baby shrimps is listed in the ingredients?
A: As someone whi has an amlergy to shell fish and just sea food itself, I can promise there is no baby shrimps used to make the kimchi!
submitted by - 3 years agoA: Hello, the ingredients in this Kimchi are: Napa Cabbage, Chili Pepper, Carrot, Garlic, Green Onion, Cane Sugar, Onion, Sea Salt, and Ginger. All vegan ingredients. This does not contain shrimp.

Q: Is this Kimchi very spicy?
A: Yes Mild Spice. Have been buying for years. Glass bottle which I appreciate.
submitted byMature Customer - 4 years agoA: It does have gochugaru in it (Korean Chili Peppers) but is a mild-medium spice level. If you're looking for a spicy kimchi, we have a spicy version as well.

Q: would this be spicy for someone with a VERY low spice tolerance. (I'm talking cant eat Takis without water/milk)

A: It's packed fresh! If you like mild, crispy Kimchi, eat it right away. If you enjoy bold and bubbly flavors refrigerate it to your matured liking.

Q: Does this require refrigeration PRIOR to opening?
A: To preserve the shelf life of your kimchi, it's recommended to keep refrigerated & only use clean utinsils to remove product. This will prevent the introduction of foreign bacteria.
