SereneLife SLACHT804 Portable Air Conditioner & Heater with Dehumidifier – 8000 BTU (White & Black)

After thoroughly researching portable AC units to replace my older unit, I chose this particular unit because of it's compact size and features available. To my surprise, it exceeded all of my expectations. The packaging was excellent and installation a breeze. As soon as I set it up, turned it on and the air was so cold I had to turn it off after ten minutes. It's been a week now and it exceeds my expectations every day. It is a quality item with low noise level and very easy to operate. And the price was right!!

Cooled the room well.

I like how easy this is to move around the house. Our ac went out but it's just my husband and myself so we are giving this a try to prevent having to buy a new system this season. We are able to move this around from our room at night while we sleep and then after he leaves for work I move it down to our home office. It cools down the room which is the size of a standard bedroom. It's been a little over 2 weeks and it seems to be working well. The noise is minimal and doesn't disturb me while working or on the phone. There was no installation and I haven't had to clean it yet.

Just received product. Haven't used it yet but it has a broken caster wheel. Smashed in shipping. The packaging needs to be improved or leave plastic wheels off and install by owner. Nice looking unit. I will post later after running it.

We got this for our FROG room that doesn't have an AC vent. It cooled the room quickly and quietly. Was fairly simple to set up and control. The remote is nice too because we can control it from across the room.

I needed an AC I could put in my she shed that I could manage myself. This is a narrow overall lightweight AC that moves easily. The shed is 10 X 12 and is insulated and this cools perfectly; I can keep it at an easy 67 in the florida heat. The vents are wide so super easy to clean, whcih is important with all the pollen and dust in my she shed. The instruction manual was very easy to follow and I'm very happy with the price and result!

This has been a great addition with the high heat and humidity in the south where we live. We run the extra room AC in our bedroom for a little while before we go to bed so we are only cooling down our bedroom and not the whole house so we can sleep better at night. It definitely helps to ease the wear and tear on our whole house AC and uses way less power. I love that this unit has a built in dehumidifier because a lot of our issues right now are humidity. The remote control is very convenient and if we are going to be out of the house until close to bedtime, we can set the timer for it to turn on early enough to have the room cool when we return.

Bought this for upstairs. It said it could be installed vertical or horizontal but across the part would not fit in small enough to close window. If you close the shorter option then you had to use a towel to block the rest of the wi Dow. Which is not a kind term solution. Also it needs to be drained often so we had to get inventive to drain this as we have no bathroom on the second floor and the unit is very heavy.

Was given this unit because friend said didn't cool enough for them. I installed correctly and ran for a few hours, Never got cold. Still under warranty but I am not the original owner. They bought it 7/8/2024. So in less than a year it goes bad. I have A/C portable units that are over 6 years old and still going Great. Is there a way to get a warranty claim going? I know for other appliance manufacturers if still in coverage time they don't care who owns.

Cleaning out a garage in the dog days of summer sucks. But with this portable AC unit it doesn't suck quite as badly. You won't get freezer burn from this, but it will keep you cool so you can keep working.

Worked great for a couple of weeks but hardly blows cold air. I cleaned filters and made sure defrosted but not a great product

Stopped working after 4months! I've tried everything but taking the whole thing apart! Instructions are a joke, go to the website the instructions are a joke there too! save your money and look somewhere else!

This little AC is a beast! Cools my room fast and quiet. Perfect for hot days!

Bought this for my little girl's room, just to keep the air and moist regulated. Room stays pretty much cold and without a noise of regular ac. And it was also easy to set up and just put dryer tube or duct in her window Definitely will get another one for the guest room.

This is a perfect size for our master bedroom which is the hottest room in the house. It was super easy to set up and use. It also has a dehumidifier which we need in WA with all the humidity. It doesn't take long to cool our room. We can adjust the temperature to what we need each night.

I couldn't wait to give these a try, as I hate window air conditioners that take up the entire window. I can still open the window without having to remove the air conditioner with this unit. It's very quiet keeps our bedroom nice and cool.

Bought this unit for my daughters room. It has a tube you connect to the window to vent outside. Also has a remote witch is handy to control one she is sleeping so it doesn't get too cold. Took us maybe 20 minutes to set it up and get it running. The room was cooled within the hour after we started it with the room door closed. it's not bulky like some i've seen.

Poorly designed window adapter. Window does not close around it and the extender vibrates and shortens allowing air from outside to get in. Returning it.

Waste of money. I plug the unit in and it didn't even cook for 13 hours
