Easily add storage space and a modern look to any room with the Danya B Smoke Glass Floating Shelves with Chrome Brackets in Black. These floating black glass shelves are made of strong tempered glass (also known as safety glass), and are finished with highly polished edges. Two chrome brackets mount the shelf to the wall. Q: What is the weight capacity of each shelf and can it be mounted on drywall ?

A: The weight capacity is 6 lbs. As far you use the provided hardware and anchors it can be mounted on drywall.

Q: can these be glued to tile, then the glass placed on after the glue dries?

A: The glass is always placed after the bracket is is place but we do not recommend gluing the bracket as the glass shelf might not hold its weight capacity. In order for the shelf to work as designed bracket should be placed with screws and anchors provided.

Q: on the dimensions, is the glass itself 6" in depth, or does that also take into consideration the brackets as to how far out it hangs from the wall?

Q: How does this attach to the wall? Are drilling holes involved?

A: The chrome brackets are screwed into the wall. If you have drywall you can either use the anchors included or any other type of drywall anchors. Once mounted, there are no visible screws, these remain hidden inside the bracket. I hope this helps!

Exactly what I wanted for my MCM bathroom at a great price. Most of the ones I'd seen on Amazon were $35 for just one shelf. Shelves are beautiful once hung. The hardware is very sturdy. Docking a star because a template would have made installation a helluva lot easier.

These are nice shelves and work just as I'd hoped they would in our bathroom. They seem sturdy enough for the bathroom items I wanted to place on them. The only improvement I'd suggest is clearer/better instructions, they are very vague, but luckily my husband is a great handyman who was able to figure out how to safely install them.

Exactly the size I needed for the space they were intended for. Also it matched well beyond what I thought. The glass isn't smoked though it's more like a black color.
