I ordered the natural color and was worried that the sandy color wouldn't work. Unfortunately, what they claim is grey is not grey at all, it's brown. I unwrapped them hoping that a single layer would look differently. It's brown. If you're expecting grey, don't get these. other than the color though, they look like nice sheers, especially for the price.

Love these curtains! So regarding the color stripes appearing grey/lighter grey/white or the tan/grey/white, it all depends on your lighting and/or decor. In some lighting my curtains appear just grey,grey,white and others they appear tan,grey,white. I will post photos to give an example. I took my photos same day and seconds apart. I love the rustic look they give. They are light sheer fabric so I wouldn't expect it to keep much light out or help keep heat in etc. They do give a beautiful touch to the room and feel like could compliment many types of decor. They feel like a burlap sack fabric. Overall very pleased. I purchased the natural color. Comes in a set of two so very good price value as well.
