Q: How do the legs attach? Do they actually screw in tight? We bought a set of chairs and the legs have a built in screw, that connect to the seat, they are constantly coming loose. Any issue with these? Would love a purchaser response.

A: Hello Heather, The legs are held together by wooden dowels and screws that hold the seat cushion and the legs together. Unless the wooden pre drilled holes were completely stripped from applying too much pressure you should not have any issues. Q: Do you just use a screwdriver to attach the chair to the base? I don't see any alignment guides, do you just attach at will? What length screwdriver is needed?

Mostly Disappointing
Wow I don't know how these don't have worse reviews. I was frustrated putting them together because the bolts are in weird spots so that you can only turn them about 1/3 of a turn every time with the allen wrench. Most you can hand screw down most of the way but a couple had to be turned with the wrench all the way. Then when screwing the base onto the seat there are no pre drilled holes so you better make sure you line it up right. The extension bit on my screwdriver was ever so slightly too big to reach down the hole for the screws. Which wasn't a huge deal but it turns out it's really easy to over tighten a step the screws. Using a regular screwdriver. The seat fell off when I lifted it up. Overall very disappointing. Almost as annoying to put together as the loveseat I did with completely wrong instructions. Fabric looks great though.

Great Quality terrible setup
The chairs look great and are great quality. I had to give them 4 stars however due to the terrible experience putting them together. Attaching the legs to the seat was a headache. My hands were sore for 2 days due to the amount of pressure needed to get the nails to penetrated the wooden underside of the chair. Pre-drilled holes do exist in 2018.

Beautiful chairs
They are not as comfortable as I thought by looking at the pictures but they look very, very good! They have a real mid-century modern vibe. Assembly is not too bad, just pay attention to instructions and use photos for reference. They are a great deal!

Great look at affordable price
I am in love with these chairs! I bought them to go with my West Elm dining table and everyone thinks they’re part of a West Elm dining set. They're great quality and pretty comfortable as far as dining chairs go. My only complaint is that they took some time to assemble - I had to go buy a new screwdriver because my other ones weren’t long enough to reach the screws at the base.
