Like many who deal with emotional illness, Wanda studied psychology and entered the mental-health field to understand her issues better. She recounts the experience of serving as an intern in a facility where she had once been a patient.
Drawing on her own experience, Wanda offers a wealth of advice and encouragement to anyone in emotional pain. She urges those who are hurting to seek healing by bringing their burdens to God in prayer and sharing their secrets with others if they feel led by God. Included in the volume are poems, song lyrics, Bible passages, and encouraging quotations. Wanda also shares a letter she felt inspired to write for the world from our Heavenly Father and Jesus.
