The Best Filter for the Shark HP102 Air Purifier.

This filter is an exact replacement for the original that came with my Shark HP102 air purifier. It is very easy to swap out filters in just a couple minutes with no tools required. Longevity has been great - I've gone many months with daily use in a dry, dusty environment. My allergies are much better, even with only one unit running in a 1000 square foot room (combined living and dining). There is also visibly less dust in the house. Before I bought the air purifier, I had to dust at least once a week to keep the house looking respectable. Now I can go three weeks and sometimes longer. When I think about the implications of that for the inside of my lungs, I couldn't be happier. They don't come cheap, but neither do respirartory illnesses and lost productivity from allergy symptoms.

What a Joke

Never change the filter? I have two Issues/ one, our house is trying to kill us, And it doesn't not clean the air for 500 square feet for very long- bought it last summer- July- and it's time for a new filter.

We’re disappointed to hear about your experience, especially since your air purifier isn’t maintaining coverage as expected and your filter needs replacement sooner than you anticipated. We understand how frustrating this must be, and we appreciate you sharing this with us. To help maximize filter life and performance, we recommend keeping the unit in AUTO mode so once the air reaches 100% clean for 10 minutes, it shifts into ECO mode to optimize filter use. We also suggest flipping/rotating the HEPA filter every 3 months (reinserting it upside down) to balance captured particles and extend lifespan. The filter typically needs replacement every 6–12 months, and the Filter Life light will flash when it’s time.
