Ordered this razor as a freshener shaver for my legs when I don't have time to shave with a razor. I plugged it in to charge and noticed it had a significant amount of charge, being ready to use upon receipt.I first used the razor with about 4 days of growth. It worked very well, getting close and my leg felt smooth. I set it aside.A few days later, my husband thanked me for "his" new razor. He keeps it in the car to shave on the way to work if needed. He agrees that it shaves well and that it is easy to clean.We both agree that the on/off button is a bit sensitive so it sometimes will shut off mid shave.Overall, a good value for when the closeness of a razor shave isn't an option. Works well for inexpensive shaver

The design is clever and more practical than some alternatives I've tried.

Quality is better than expected, definitely a good purchase.

This electric shaver will get you a close shave, with very little skin irritation. It doesnt snag or pull the hair, like Ive experienced with other electric shavers. It has a battery percentage monitor to indicate your charge state and if you need to charge soon along with a little hair trimmer that pops out, to offer an additional hair removing solution. However this addition is at a weird angle, its usable but slightly difficult to get the right angle with for hair trimming.The unit is also a little bulky, compared to more compact units, but maybe thats to store a bigger battery and longer charge life. The travel of the jiggler arm is ran from a powerful motor and has a longer distance of jiggle travel. The blade unit, under the foil, is not captive. Its a free floating blade design. When you apply this against your face and hair is inserted into the blades, it sounds violent in there and alot of noise is produced. For people with thicker beards this violence might be advantageous, since it sounds like its really attacking the hair. For me it sounds a little too violent and resulted in very mild skin irritation, compared to more gentle designs, with smaller motors, less travel of the jiggler and captive blade foil designs. So I consider it an effective design, but of medium quality for my hair type.My hair type is not as thick so I prefer a less powerful, more gentle design that is quieter and leaves no skin irritation. Comparatively, this one is like a turbo engine model. So if youre hair follicle is thicker and, maybe a weaker model has difficulty cutting through, the turbo engine might deliver. For my follicle thickness, the extra power is not worth the minor skin irritation it causes. This is like the 3 watt turbo model. Comparatively, it did complete the shave faster, if youre pressed for time, but I dont prioritize the speed of the shave over minor skin irritation. So I feel which type is superior to be very subjective. By minor irritation, I mean far less irritating than a traditional double sided razor shave. One person found this helpful

Not perfect, but for the price it's hard to beat.

This shaver is easy to use right out of the box.It is a nice size, it fits comfortably in my hand and is easy to hold while shaving.It is easy to remove the cover and brush the blades clean after use.I thought it would nice for doing a quick touch up shaving my legs and it works great for that. I like that I can use it wet or dry, what a time saver.For me, it's not as good as a the disposable razors that I usually use, but for a quick touch up without jumping in the shower, this is perfect.Great value for this handy shaver
