Sharper Image Robo Window Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Sharper Image window washer robo free from sharper image and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I really wanted to love this, but it just quite was not there. You really have to baby the product and it stops midway through if the windows are very dirty, so you have to go out there and restart the robo. I found that spraying the mop heads to be damp made it work easier. When I cleaned the inside window it did a good job of cleaning that but once I moved it outside it didn’t do so well. You can see the streak mark from it pushing the dirty around. I’ll have to go change to a clean pad and restart it to finish the job. It took about 30 mins for it to do a small window. Overall I don’t recommend this product for it’s not efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a cute little robot and good for my large sliding doors. Not too loud and easy enough to use after set. I do wish the cord was a little bit longer for my 11 foot doors. Plug-in so no need to worry about dying batteries. Stayed section to a glass. Not sure that I would buy it again but fun to have around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A robot window vacuum washer!!! I never knew how much I needed this! Very impressed by this machine! I have a 2 story house with a walk out basement so being able to clean my windows in the back is very high up and not easily feasible to wash the outside side of the windows. Not anymore! Just open the window and hold it against the windows then push the button and the robot goes to work! It vacuums against the window and moves back and forth and up and down and cleans the entire window! The suction is very good and not once felt like it would fall off the window. It also comes with a safety rope that you attach to something just in case so that is a nice safety feature. Once it’s done it beeps and then you need to hold it and push the button to release the vacuum and then you can take it off the window. So you do need to watch and keep an eye on it while using. It also has build in battery for additional safety in case you would lose power. It’s very easy to use and they have thought about safety features. You can also add distilled water to the unit and it will spray water onto the window. I manually spray window cleaner onto the window as best I can to work with the distilled water for added cleaning. This robot has been so great to be able to finally clean windows that are otherwise hard to clean from the outside! It comes with additional cleaning cloths and they are safe to clean in the washing machine. It also has a remote control as well if you would need to stop it or something and other settings like start stop the automatic water. If you have large windows that are difficult to reach this is a must have product if you ask me!

It sprays, scrubs, and vacuums—so the windows do look cleaner than my old method. Here’s what I liked: • The finish is decent—less streaking than my manual wipe. • It feels kinda futuristic and fun to use. Here’s what annoyed me: • Gotta go slow. If you rush? The vacuum part starts leaving drips or streaks.  • The device isn’t super nimble. For big windows it’s helpful, but small panes or tight corners? Less so. • At the cost/price? I expected a little more reliability and less babysitting. Bottom line: If you’ve got large, hard-to-reach windows and you don’t mind doing a bit of babysitting, this can help. But if you’re expecting it to replace your regular window-cleaning routine entirely, you might still end up grabbing a cloth and ladder anyway.

It takes all the bore and chore out of washing and cleaning your windows . Set it up and place and let it go to work allowing you to move onto other things. I can't wait to tell all of my family and friends about this product so that they can run out and get one for themselves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sharper Image Window Vacuum Washer Robo worked as described. It suctioned to the window really well and navigated itself in the perimeter cleaning efficiently. The noise level is tolerable, although not quiet and the battery level is moot as it has a very long cord.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this product would be great for someone that has big windows that a person would have a difficult time reaching to clean. The unit itself os not difficult to use but you have to keep it plugged in for it to work. I wasn't a fan of that. I suppose you could attach a long extension cord but what a pain! It did clean fairly well though and was not hard to figure out how to use it. I would only recommend if you have really high windows that would be super hatd to clean, this would be beneficial and worth dragging out a 100 ft cord to use. It is not very loud either and does suction to the glass well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a cool cleaning device. You do have to read the product instructions throughly. This device did make it easier to clean windows however having to secure it to something to prevent it from falling if the loss suction happens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s easy to use and it has been doing a good job with all my windows and doors. It’s loud like a vacuum and it takes a while to complete the work, but considering it’s something you leave it running and get back later to move to the next window, it’s actually great. It can be used both indoor and outdoor and the only thing it requires is distilled water (no chemicals, no tap water, nothing else except the distilled water). I really like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product and works really well! I have noticed that mine dies fairly quickly but it has been working great so far! It has stuck to the windows really really well! Its not terribly loud but still noticable that it is there but its helpful when its telling you its done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little handy dandy window cleaner is PERFECT for all the multi-tasking I love to get done around the house and it’s great for my cleaning business! It cleans so well and doesn’t leave any streaks or residue behind. I’ve compared what it looks like when it cleans a window next to a window that I cleaned by hand and the difference is phenomenal. The best part about this window cleaner, is if some reason the power went out or it gets unplugged from the outlet, it will stay suctioned to the window until you can get it down or plug it back up. I love my little robot window cleaner.

So far it's help me cleaning tall windows that are hard to reach, and it’s been pretty impressive so far. The suction is strong and holds securely on the glass, and the gyro navigation helps it move evenly across the surface. I like that it has a remote control, which makes it easy to guide or stop it when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The suction of this window vacuum was great. It cleaned the windows very nicely. It is very loud. I also thought that it would run on battery but it has to be plugged in to run which is an inconvenience since you need to be close to a plug.

I was excited about this as I haven’t figured out how to clean my top floor windows in my apartment. However, I have been too nervous to try due to this feeling very flimsy and needing to be plugged in during use? Seems risky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free and probably wouldn’t have thought to purchase it but it’s honestly amazing! It’s a little loud and I always keep in plugged in while cleaning but it does have a battery. It navigates to the top of the window and then cleans from the top down. It sprays water as needed and does a good job cleaning windows. It was great to set and go while I was cleaning other things in the same room. I wouldn’t stray too far while it’s working but super helpful to automate one cleaning task while I could focus on others.

It’s a little bit heavy, but the suction is pretty strong so it does not fall. But I’m a little disappointed about the sprinkler. The water is leaking down, not spraying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I really love this little robot!! It did such a great job making the windows look clean! I will say it’s not perfect and it leaves behind a slight wavy design from the way it moves but it might just be because my windows have not been cleaned in months (live in Arizona where very dusty). Pros: great for very large and very high windows that you can’t reach. Gets the whole window! Cons: noisy-sounds like a vacuum maybe as if someone was vacuuming in the other room so not full blast vacuum but still pretty loud. Takes a while to clean the window. Maybe 10-15 for a large window like I pictured. If I have smaller or lower windows I would probably just prefer to do it myself. This is awesome for those large or tall windows. Uses distilled water only and did a great job. Comes with 14 covers so you can change them during your cleaning and they are washable/reusable. After changing one of the covers the cover kept coming off so that was annoying but I replaced again and is working well. I would definitely recommend this! Super cool

I thought it was cordless since it mentions charging, but it actually has to stay plugged in while it’s running, which makes it a bit less convenient. You can only use distilled water-no cleaning solution, which feels limiting because plain water just doesn’t get windows completely spotless. It does help with those hard-to-reach areas, and the suction is strong, but I wish it had app control instead of just a remote. Overall, it’s a cool concept that works okay, but it still needs a few improvements to really be worth it.
