Sharper Image Robo Window Cleaner

You do need to “babysit” it a bit but I can always find something else to work on in the same room accomplish two tasks at one time. I am amazed at how well it suctions to the window and how it cleans. It also worked well on the outside of our sliding glass door.

I chose an area above my front door that needed to be cleaned desperately, but I don't believe I did a good job. Overall, it is a great product and one I would recommend for those who have someone to help them use it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does what it promised - washes windows - and comes with extra pads and a water tank filler which were very handy. That said it was far bigger than expected, takes a fair bit of time to walk across a relatively small window, is loud (because of vacuum suction), and requires being plugged in at all times (which I was not expecting). It also had troubles with relatively common window features - notably window locks (like pictured) and the door handle on our glass porch doors. Did it save time? Maybe. Does it clean well? Yes! I am just not sure how often I will use it. This spring I want to try it on the outside of the windows, which are far more of a pain to clean, and this it would perform well there! Inside, we’ll keep using it for now but have a feeling we may just got back to hand washing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It makes quick work of those flat, smooth surfaces and pulls water away cleanly without a lot of streaking. The microfiber pad does a good job scrubbing, so you get a pretty even clean. One thing worth pointing out is that you may still need to supervise it. The suction that holds it up on the glass does work, but you do need to make sure you start it in a good position and keep it on surfaces it can grip. It’s not impossible for it to lose suction if there’s too much water pooled or if the surface isn’t totally flat and clean to begin with, so pay attention when you’re using it on larger panes.

It magically clings to windows, and makes its way around the entire surface. I’m excited to try it on the exterior side next! The power cord is long, making this perfect for homes with tall windows.

On mirrors and sliding glass doors, it leaves a fairly streak-free finish once you get the hang of the angle. It’s convenient for quick cleanups, especially indoors. Very durable and plug in operable for battery life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try the Sharper Image Window Vacuum Washer Robo because cleaning windows is something I avoid at all costs. It definitely sticks well to the glass and does the work for you, which is awesome. However, the cleaning power is just okay. It removes smudges and dust, but I still had to go back over a few spots by hand. It’s a bit noisy while running, and you need to stay nearby to make sure it doesn’t get stuck on edges. Overall, it’s convenient for light cleaning, but it doesn’t replace a thorough window scrub.

After setting up you must attach to the window and monitor it during use. It does seem durable and the suction is there but I did a side by side and i was able to clean window faster by hand. I was hopeful it would make washing second story windows easier but after setting up a ladder the only difference is the cleaner and water is inside the unit and you don’t have to dry yourself before you would bring either the cleaners and paper towels. . It easier on floors than windows so why not. Use it for that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my robo. I use it to clean my mirrors and let me tell you it’s be spotless. Once it’s turned on it stays in that spot till you move it. Comes with replacements just in case for other surfaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a convenient way to wash and clean your windows. I wasn’t able to use the safety cord because I don’t have anything to attach it to. Nevertheless, the device had enough suction to stay on my patio door window once I started the device up and it was easy to control using the remote control and changed directions, etc. it was a little tricky getting the water to come out of the machine, but it had great suction and it did an amazing job.

It’s entertaining to watch and does a pretty decent job. It doesn’t get right up to the edge but it’s good enough. There’s a bit of a learning curve to getting it to stick onto the window but nothing crazy. It’s very convenient so I can’t complain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to receive this. It is a bit interesting. I really wanted to love it but honestly it was a bit disappointing. I love how clean it gets my windows but honestly it was stressful because it would randomly fall off and lose suction and fall to the ground and it scares you. All in all it is great but I wish the suction was a bit stronger so it wouldn’t fall off. It took me a bit to realize adding water doesn’t help and it messes with the suction at times. It is great I. Theory but needs some work.

It works well and has thoughtful features, but I’ve found that cleaning my windows with regular Windex is actually quicker and takes less effort. this device is still a good product especially for avoiding drips and getting a streak-free finish on larger windows or mirrors. The suction is strong, the water tank is easy to empty, and it keeps the process tidy. Overall, not a must-have, but definitely useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s bigger than I expected, I was expecting a miniature sized window cleaner but this is huge, perfect for the large glass backyard sliding doors. It’s super effective and easy to use and doesn’t fall off whatsoever. It’s a super easy way to quickly clean your windows!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this Robo window washer by sharper image and Influenster. The concept is really cool. It suctions to the window, you use a remote to tell it what direction to move and it has 2 spinners that clean. Would probably be very useful for hard to reach windows. A few cons - it needs to be plugged in. I expected wireless…. You can only use distilled water in it, which for me - is inconvenient. Mine wouldn’t actually spray any water? Could be user error though. It’s very loud! All in all… it just seems like a lot of time could be saved if you just sprayed and wiped the window yourself. I do plan to try it on the outside second floor windows however so that may change my mind! It even comes with a tether it case it loses suction so it won’t crash to the ground which is nice… as long as I can find a place to tie it to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cool concept, but the point of gadgets like this are that you can turn it on and go do other things. This has to be hooked onto something and the instructions state not to leave unsupervised. It works a little but it takes forever. It’s much faster to wash the windows yourself than set this up to watch it slowly work.

I shouldn't have waited. It's easier than I thought. We have many windows and some are very hard to reach so this is great for cleaning without ladders or other tools. I applaud whoever invented this.
