The chair comes in four main parts; the back assembly, the seat assembly, one left side assembly, and one right side assembly. Q: Purchased 4 white deck chairs 05/21. Love them. Cleaning with mild detergent and soft brush. Still look dirty as if the white color has come off in the texture. Is the resin solid white or painted?

A: Hello Nancy, POLYWOOD lumber colors run continuously throughout the material, but it does have a bit of a texture that dirt can get caught in. For extra cleaning power or to sanitize, mix 1/3 bleach and 2/3 water, let it sit on the item for a few minutes before scrubbing or rinsing. You can also use a max 1500psi power washer to get down in the texture as well. Thanks for reaching out, Heather

Q: I am assebling these chairs and do not see predrilled holes for the back to be screwed into the arm. Am I missing something?There is no way I could use the hex tool to get these in without a hole.

Perfect chair
This chair is so cute and comfortable. I needed something smaller than an Adirondack chair, and these fit perfectly. The image of the blue chair with the logo upside down is completely installed incorrectly, and it is simply user error. The directions are simple and straightforward. There are a total of 8 bolts with an included hex key. I have the original polywood adirondack chairs, and these came with a better hex key and better instructions. These are a little lighter than the big Adirondack chairs, but that’s what I wanted and needed for this space. Liked them so much that I just ordered two more!

Polywood chairs
Chairs are missing 2 screws for each chair - the back of each chair. Also the poky wood symbol is upside down. Disappointed.

Hard to assemble bc incomplete
Bought 4 and NONe had pre drilled holes in the arm so after trying to figure out what I did wrong, had to hunt down the drill and make my own holes. Looked so easy at first and that last step…Knew it was too good to be true

Good, but wish the "wood" was stronger
These were such a good price for polywood, but they aren’t as thick as other versions I’ve seen. I am kind of bothered by how much they sag as shown in my photo. Worried the slats won’t last very long, but hopeful they’ll prove me wrong!

Love the Look Not the Quality
We have the Shawboro polywood bench that we ordered last year and loved it. The chairs were not in stock last year when we went to order so I was excited to see these come back in stock. I am really disappointed in the durability of these chairs compared to the bench. When you sit in them both the back rest and seat sink down from our weight and neither my husband or I are overweight. We also realized that one of our chairs came with an unfinished edge on the arm and I am in the midst of trying to get through to customer service to get a replacement arm. I expected much more for $250

The Shawboro Patio Lounge chair has been tested to ASTM standards to bear a static load up to 400 pounds so what you're seeing could be the intentional flexibility in the material. The slats are designed allow a slight amount of deflection so that they become slightly contoured for enhanced comfort. Please reach out to Target if you feel the give is more excessive than that and their customer service team should be able to assist. Love my cute, coastal Adirondack chairs
I shamelessly bought this entire collection from the Target ad for my new backyard patio. They took about a month to arrive, which was fine, because our patio wasn't complete. They were super easy to assemble. My husband and I assembled all four in less than one hour. There is a teeny bit of discomfort at the back on these, but maybe that's what you get with this style of chair...just beware! I think a square back cushion will help. They are true polywood chairs. Weather and humidity won't harm this material and it looks like real wood. We live one block from salt water and they have fared fine. Quality seems great.

Nice chairs-might need extra tool
I was very excited to have these chairs delivered today. I was looking for something low-backed and am very familiar with polywood products. I ordered two of the Adirondack style last spring. The shawboro chairs are comfortable, but not quite as comfortable as I had expected. The low-back looks nice but the X design is not very comfortable or supportive on the back. The chairs are very sturdy and the color is nice. The design is clean and would work will with many styles. Being polywood, I am confident that they will last a very long time. Assembly was pretty easy, only requiring eight screws that are tightened with the included hex tool. Due to the design, this tool did not work well when attaching the back to the arms. The tool is too long and will not turn due to the tight space between boards that it must be used. I had a #4 hex wrench in my toolbox which worked for this tight task. They should include one of these in the hardware package that fits the tighter space of this design.
