I have really dry skin, especially my feet because I live in the desert and wear flip flops year round. My skin can get really rough, dry, scratchy against clothing, and it even cracks and bleeds sometimes. That said, I expected this to work about as well as Caress or Dove soap…giving me a little hydration but still needing extra lotion. After using this Shea Moisture body wash though, my skin was extra soft and I didn’t feel like I needed to moisturize right after the shower! I also shaved with it, and I didn’t experience any razor bumps or irritation and it just kept my skin feeling smooth. I also like that the bottle is a large size, so I expect that this will last me a long time, and by using it every other day it keeps my skin moisturized and saves product, so it could definitely be good for girls on a budget. I like Shea Moisture products because they always have good ingredients, never irritate my skin, and the scent on this one is really good too. I think it smells like a sweet, milky, almost floral scent. My husband thinks it smells like a fruity and coconutty dessert. If you’re looking for long lasting moisture straight out of the shower, and if other products aren’t quite measuring up, try this!

I love the sleek modern packaging, and it's easy to control the amount of product I want to use. It has ingredients that effectively cleanse while moisturizing. After the shower, my skin is smooth and moisturized, and I can still smell the scent lingering.

Upon first use, I remember noting how it looks and feels almost like lotion as opposed to a typical body wash consistency and appearance. I did test its moisture claim by not using lotion over night and I was a little ashy, but not ridiculously ashy. So I’d still suggest using lotion after getting out of the shower. Light to no scent which I don’t mind as I put on perfume afterwards. I’d highly recommend this product!

The consistency felt different from body washes I’ve tried before, it definitely felt thicker in comparison. If I had to use one word to describe my experience with this wash, it would definitely be moisturizing. Each time I used it my skin felt soft and hydrated without the use of other products. I didn’t have any problems getting a lather either. The scent was nice and balanced, not so faint that I couldn’t smell it, but also was not too much. I really enjoyed using this product.

It smells nice but not overwhelming, and it’s very hydrating. I also found that it lathers very well. The bottle is huge too, making it a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After unboxing this product, I saw that it said Raw Shea Butter on it, but when you flip it to the ingredients side, it has TONS of chemicals in there. I do not enjoy the scent and it doesn’t lather the way that I would like it to. I did feel moisturized, a tad bit, but it wore off as soon as I dried off with a towel. I’m personally not a fan of this.

I tried it with a washcloth. It was horrible. I tried it with a loofah and it was better. It did sud up really well, but it takes forever to rinse out of your washcloth or your loofah. It’s a really nice size and I love the packaging. The product could be better.
