after experimenting with all of the shea products I can confidently say that this conditioner works wonders, in the shower, and even as a styling/leave in conditioner. Has made my hair extremely soft and left my curls defined and juicy. Will definitely keep using this <3 Hair texture:3c-4a

I started my 2B hair journey since April and this line is AMAZING, I use the shampoo,conditioner, and leave in treatment with the curl enhancing smoothie and a gel and since I started using this line my hair has been soft, shiny, defined, and not frizzy, I don’t plan on stop using this line!

I just started my 2B hair journey and I would say this entire line wasn’t much help, Although the products smell AMAZING i noticed that my hair got EXTREMELY frizzy, i just don’t think this was the right product for me.

I love Shea Moisture hair products, but not this one. It has a chemical smell to it, despite natural ingredients. I also agree with others who noted it did not seem to hydrate despite its thickness. And feel compelled to slather it on b/c you can’t feel it in your hair. Maybe my hair is so dry that it just sucks it up? Once I finish up this tube I’ll go back to the other Shea Moisture products that I’ve had success with.

Such a bummer because I love all their products. But I got this specifically to hydrate my hair and it does the exact opposite. My hair feels bleh and dry after I use it. I don’t know if they changed the formula or what but I don’t recommend this conditioner.

I used the conditioner and not the shampoo because my hair is that damaged. It detangled great and my hair immediately absorbed it. I used the leave-in and was shocked that it did not leave a heavy film like the other lines of shea moisture, I suppose they are made for type 3 and 4 hair types. My hair is well hydrated but not weighted down. Please continue to make this product.

Nope, nope and nope. With each change of packaging they dumb the formula down. Centrimonium Chloride (as most of the other chlorides but CC is the worst) dries out hair to the max! It's a low cost ingredient though and that's why it's in so many products.

Next, I was concerned that it might be too thick and would leave my roots feeling really weighed down and greasy. I’m really happy to say that my ends feel moisturized but my roots do not feel greasy! I’m excited to use this product again next time. Look at my photo, shiny curls without any product yet. I’m happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The texture was appealing coming out of the tube, the Shea makes it buttery and rich to the touch. I worked it ends up through my mid-back length wavy/curly hair, let it sit for 10 minutes, and used a wide comb and to my disappointment my hair didn’t have the slip conditioner should to gently comb through. It helps to detangle somewhat, not great. The smell is pretty nice—sweet like honey. My issues with it: it weights down my hair, so much that the top is flat, even after drying completely on top of my head clipped up. Even worse, the ends feel somewhat straw-like, like the last four inches of my hair is rough/unhealthy. It didn’t deliver moisture. I do think it delivers protein with the yogurt content which may be good for some hair types. My hair is dry to begin with, which is why I use a moisturizing shampoo, but I’m thinking this is best for more normal-to-oily hair, and straight to wavy. Shea Moisture manuka honey & yogurt conditioner specifically advertises for moisture and repair, the same 2 qualities my regular D.E. cocomino conditioner contains, so it was a fair comparison.

I have used several Sheamoisture shampoos, conditioners and styling products, but none from this line. I paired this with Carol's Daughter Goddess Strength Shampoo. I started with my hair pre detangled for the most part, but this did have good slip to comb through further knots. I left this sit on my mids and ends for a minute or two and rinsed with cool water. After styling wet and waiting for my hair to dry, I notice that my hair is soft and has nice volume. Second day and the moisture from this conditioner has not weighed down my hair or made it feel greasy, but my ends are a little dry. That could be me needing a trim or the products I paired it with. I would use the conditioner again.

Left it in my hair and used it for a week and noticed my hair was softer and not as frizzy. I have curly hair and I I straighten my hair a lot and use a lot of products so using this product have my hair some hope and healthy appearance. I am satisfied with the hydrate repair conditioner. This is a must if you have damaged hair.

IDK what is going on then, because this left my hair beyond snarled and feeling like straw. There was no “slip” in my hair, even after using fistfuls of product, if that makes sense. The first time after using it, my hair felt tacky/heavy like maybe I hadn’t rinsed the conditioner out enough. The second time I used it, I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed and still felt a film on my hair. Points for smelling nice, though!
