Q: Can it charge a phone that has a protective case on it?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Possibly, however must first know if phone (wireless device) has built in wireless charging capabilities by Googling manufacturer's name and series of phone/wireless device. If the phone/wireless device does NOT have built-in wireless charging capabilities, then the case would be irrelevant as the phone/wireless device would not be able to charge from wireless QI charging station. However, if it is determined that the phone/wireless device has built-in wireless charging capabilities, then would be able to charge wirelessly from QI charging station, just beware if the case is too thick may affect the charging ability. A: Hello. Thank you for your inquiry. OttLite LED Shine desk lamp is an LED desk lamp in which the LED (Light Emitting Diodes) are built into the lamp, therefore not replaceable. Q: Does this lamp come with a bulb? If not, what type of bulb does it take? This is a gift and I want to be sure it can be used as soon as it's unwrapped.

My desk is really dark and i hate the overhead lights. Purchased this because of the wireless charging feature on the base. Super easy and now I don't have to find my cords. The light is really nice. Pure white ... doesn't make my eyes hurt. And, i can make it brighter or softer. Great lamp and lots of features.
