submitted byAnita - 6 years agoTarget staff supportA: I don't know, but lumens measures total amount of light, whereas wattage measures units of power. My guess of a lamp this size/type is between 500-1000 lumens, probably not more than about 800.

submitted byTerra - 6 years agoTarget staff supportA: I tried to clamp it on table with 1 1/2" thickness and it just slips off. Tried adjusting clip and it can't handle anything over 1". Also apparently the LED bulb isn't replaceable !

Nope. I was clamping this to a desk when one side of the clamp just broke off. I wasn't trying to force it onto anything thicker than the clamp limit. Yeah it was cheap but come on.

The lamp itself is nice looking, has very nice switch, and a pretty big clamp. The negative, and it's a big one, is that it's pretty dim and not adjustable.

It's made of plastic instead of metal. It has little LED lights instead of a lightbulb and you can't even change it when it goes out. It's not very bright. It's also overpriced for this poor of quality. It's basically disposable. It should be illegal to sell a lamp where you can't even change the bulb. I will be returning it.

Our youngest asked for a night light that clips to her bed for Christmas, & she sleeps on the top bunk of a bunk bed, so we needed a light with a clip & a long enough cord. This lamp seemed to be "close enough" to what we needed. My plan was to swap out the light bulb with a lower-wattage one to make it more of a night light. Now yes, the information is in the listing [Includes: 1 Desk Task Lamp, Integrated LED Bulb(s) (Non-Removable)]. However, it's buried in "specifications"; who clicks on "specifications" for a simple lamp?? Also, have you ever heard of a non-removable lightbulb?? I have not!! How egregiously wasteful & disgustingly unhelpful... So I have to THROW IT OUT & BUY A WHOLE OTHER LAMP when the BULB goes out...??? Ummm... WHAT?? It's a disposable lamp. !!! How disgusting.

For $11, this is a steal. I was concerned about if clamp would fit on our upholstered headboard but it did! The amount of light is perfect. Since bulb isn’t replaceable, bought a couple extra lamps since lamp is so inexpensive-figured it was about the same as price if a bulb

This lamp is really bright, in my opinion, which is a good thing. However, I wish the brightness was adjustable. I also wish there was an option to change the warmth/coolness (yellow or white light). Overall, I do believe I got more than I paid for.

I am using this as my bedside lamp during my bedroom remodel. The quality of the clip works way better than I had anticipated and the light stays in place. The amount of light is just right for bedside reading. The quality is good.

Got this for my son's room. We had it on a timer to help wake him up. The light was good, the clip was fine, but after a year and a half of daily use, it started flickering and then died completely. Wish I'd bought a lamp with a replaceable bulb. And yes, the cord is kind of short.

Off the shelf, the light provides vibrant light and works great. However, after less than a year of average use (for work at home purposes) the LED lights went out. And, of course, you can't replace them because this is built to be disposable. Instead of creating product to fill up our landfills, Target should offer a similar lamp that allows a person to replace the bulb. It was good while it lasted, but not sure I would buy again.

This is a great clip lamp. I have it clipped to a bedside shelf & love it. Really like that I can move it to a different location if needed. Clip is stronger that other lamps I've had. Also love that neck is bendable for adjusting. Is a plug in lamp, which Is what I also wanted.
