This table Lamp has to be charged because it contains a non-removable LED bulb powered by a rechargeable battery, allowing it to operate cordlessly. If the non-removable bulb blows out, the entire lamp should be discarded, as the LED is integrated into the unit and is not designed to be replaced. I hope this helps - Emma

Defective On/Off Switch
Worked okay one time; after that the switch has become less and less responsive. Now that I've been dealing with it for just over a week, I decided to return it. It puts out decent amount of light. The base is too light in my opinion and the "neck" is hard to get in the right position. I feel like this specific lamp was not assembled properly as the base and neck seem out of alignment in a way. I had to get this one shipped to me, so I couldn't see the potential flaw when I chose the item.

GREAT LAMP
I bought this lamp a few years ago. I needed extra lighting for my scrapbook photo albums. It sits on a shelf and I can bend the light where I need it. As an added bonus, it has an outlet on the base where I keep my charging cord plugged in for my devices. Today the light just went to dim and since I couldn't replace the bulb, I bought a new lamp. The price was very reasonable. Love it!
