Package and website say these are HSA/FSA eligible. They are not. Go to the federal website and look for yourself. https://www.fsafeds.gov/explore/hcfsa/expenses. I was denied by my FSA provider and they cited the IRS regulations do not cover them.

This mouth guard is marketed towards kids 10 and under with the next step up geared towards 11 and up through adults. I have a nin year old who is on the smaller side. Still has some baby teeth as well as some adult teeth already in. This mouth guard was way too small. Due to the process of getting it fitted for his mouth (boiling, biting down, etc) it was a complete loss that we will have to replace.

I bought Gel Max Mouthguard and followed the instruction from the video but it won't start on my teeth without closed my mouth. When I tried to open my mouth and breath, it came off again.

Little bit big for 13 year old

I ordered the Shock Doctor Gel Max Adult - Blue/Black and have spent over 1 hour trying to for it to my mouth. The guard falls out of my mouth each time I've attempted all of the steps. I don't believe it should take this long to fit it to your mouth. I have also cut away material to try to fit it, like suggested in the directions. This must not fit all people.

When it says youth it means youth. 8 and under i would recommend

She really wanted to wear them for her basketball games.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this mouth guard for as long as I can remember. The process for molding is superior to other brands, and the fit is very snug. I do competitive karate, and getting punched in the face happens frequently. However, I have yet to have any damage to my teeth using this product. I'm on my third one and don't think I'll change to another brand. The rope attachment is superb for helmets and face shields. Pick this up if you need one!

I didn’t use a stove for mine but rather a microwave and still had great results. Very comfortable guard and felt like my lips could move easily around it. Easy to still breathe through the mouth when guard is in place.

The custom molding Gel-Fit liner adapts nicely to my teeth, providing a snug fit and decent comfort during use. Its design feels durable and reliable enough to provide protection for my teeth during intense sports. The integrated breathing channel is a plus, making it fairly easy to breathe compared to bulkier options. However, while it’s a strong contender, it doesn’t reach perfection—it took multiple attempts of boiling and fitting to get the fitment right and as you can see from the picture is wasn’t quite centered nor was it completely level with some of my molars. If I kept playing with the boiling/fitting process in sure I could’ve gotten it perfect… eventually. However, because of my experience, the fit can feel slightly less secure, and the comfort dips a tad. Still, it seems a trustworthy choice for both casual and competitive athletes.

I wanted him to be protected and at the same time achieving his full potential without getting hurt. They appear to last because the mouth guards feel very sturdy. Comfortable and breathable for my son.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so I finally upgraded to the Shock Doctor Gel Max mouthguard, and wow, what a difference! My old cheapo mouthguard was awful – uncomfortable and always sliding around. This Gel Max molded to my teeth perfectly and feels so secure. Sparring with it was great; I barely noticed it was there, and breathing was way easier. It seems durable so far, and honestly, it's just way more comfortable than any mouthguard I've used. Definitely worth the extra money if you care about your teeth!
