  • A: Hi Colleen- Shokz here! The OpenRun Mini headphones are not Qi-enabled for wireless charging. They use a proprietary magnetic induction cable (charging cable attaches magnetically to a port). While newer Shokz models like the OpenFit or OpenDots support Qi wireless charging, the OpenRun/OpenRun Mini models rely on wired magnetic charging.     Perfect for running!!!

    10/10. I did several hours of research before committing to my purchase. I typically run in earbuds, specifically Beats model. I have a difficult time keeping earbuds in my ears while running due to small ears and ear canal. I have also ruined several earbuds to do excessive sweat on hot Texas days. I run multiple times a week and was specifically looking for something that felt weightless while running that I wouldn’t have to constantly adjust. After my research, I decided on this older model because of lighter weight and water resistance. I did sacrifice better sound quality, but I was totally ok with that! I just went on a 3 mile run to test them out and am BEYOND THRILLED with my purchase. I didn’t have to adjust them once. The sound quality was great and I could hear the music perfectly even over the breeze. Highly recommend these headphones for runners!!!

    Warning....NOT the same as the bigger ones.

    These are nothing like the Open Run 2. I have those, but they are just a little bit too big for me so I thought I would order the minis. The sound quality is subpar. They come in a bag, not a hard case. And the quality is nothing like the others. These seem really flimsy. I really thought they would be the same as the other ones, just smaller. I am very disappointed.

    Hi there- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear you're not completely satisfied with your OpenRun Mini. The OpenRun Pro 2 is a newer model and has several upgrades from the OpenRun model. We do have the OpenRun Pro 2 available in a Mini size. There is a phone setting that may resolve any low volume issues. 1. Turn Off Volume Limit Settings For iPhone: Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety, switch off the Reduce Loud Audio feature. For Samsung: Go to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Volume, click More, and turn off Media Volume Limit. For other Android phones: Go to the Bluetooth Settings on the phone, find the headphones and make sure that the Absolute Volume feature is switched on for them. If you decide these are not a good fit for you, we kindly ask that you reach out to Target Customer Service directly to learn of their return policy.     Loved it, but body said No

    As a female who often runs in the evening, being able to listen to my music while being aware of my surroundings is ideal. Turns out, I have sensitive skin and after 30 minutes of running, my cheekbones started to get irritated. It felt like I was developing a rash! Looked up more info and sadly, this is potentially one of the side effects of bone conducting headphones. Tried turning down the volume to reduce the vibration, no luck. Additionally, I'm the type who loves to listen to heavy bass or very up beat music while running. If you're the same, this is not it. Compared to the AirPod Pros I was using prior, quality of music does even compare. Regardless, I was willing to make the sacrifice for safety. Plus, I don't believe people are purchasing this product for sound quality anyways. With sensitive skin combine with music quality, it's unfortunately going to be returned after one use. Would still recommend though!
