This pole doesn’t last…it literally doesn’t hold up. It broke, just completely fell apart, after less than a year of use.

Choose this shower rod based on price and it exceeded my expectations. Adjusted and installed easy. Stays inplace and holds securely to the tub walls. The curtain hangers seamed on the "cheap" end, but actually were easy to install and have been performing very well.

It took a minute to figure it out. Righty tighty, lefty loosey. After that it took awhile to get the correct tightness to withstand 2 curtains. I hope it does not get pulled down.

I got this pole because it’s plastic and I was trying to avoid it rusting like my old pole. However, my old pole didn’t fall ONCE in the two years that I had it. This pole has fallen a solid 7 times in the month that I’ve bought it. Super frustrating and I will be returning.

Fell down out of nowhere after two weeks of use. Now the expansion mechanism does not work. Incredibly annoying. Not built to last.

I like that this curtain rod is metal because I think it looks better than plastic, although I am a little concerned about the white paint flaking/peeling off over time. I docked one star because no matter how much we turn the poles to tighten them, the fall after a few days or even after several weeks even without use.

Best shower rod I have ever purchased. Pay the extra money. It’s worth it!

This has worked perfectly for us! I was skeptical since it would be on tile and not a wall. We also have some very large Maine Coon kittens which worried us about hanging a curtain but this rod has taken on the challenge like a champ! Great value and so far holding solid! I will say, it was a pain in the butt to get evenly put up, but that’s likely due to my horrible upper body strength and not the rod itself. ;)

Look minimalist and the hook are strong its not plastic to break and they dont open up easily. Overall im happy.

Great shower rod for a main rod or an extra. I’m going to use it for extra storage in the shower and hang some mesh storage bags for shampoo and kids toys and stuff. Comes with simple, thin hooks. Good enough for what I need.

I really like this white shower curtain rod. The last rod I used had a metal look and I think the white looks a lot better. The rod itself is awesome, it holds in place really well and doesn’t fall. The rings slide across very nicely and make the shower experience go more smoothly. The ends have a grip that helps hold them in place more firmly too. There is a washer-type object within the center so when you place the bar where you need it you can basically lock it in place with that washer. I really like this rod more than the one I replaced it with. My last one would fall when one of my feral children would take a shower because they are abusive to things. This one has survived about two weeks of abuse and hasn’t fallen yet so I would count that as a solid win. I didn’t use the rings because mine didn’t come with them but I did happen to buy silver ones similar because they weren’t available in white and those work really well on the bar. Overall, I’m glad I replaced my old bar with this one and I hope it survives longer than the last one did.

To be honest, the rod is fairly standard...the curtain rings, however, are a big upgrade from what I was previously using. (I was previously using c rings, which meant the curtain sometimes slipped off and I'd have to manually adjust.) So far, the closed ring works really well. The rod has a twisting mechanism that tightens it to the length you want to extend to. I do like that the ends have a non-slip surface, but I wish the end caps weren't made of the plastic material.
