The versatile Sierra Adjustable Height Desk from Calico Designs is the perfect work desk for a multitude of applications. The large tabletop is adjustable in height, making it the perfect desk for sitting or standing while you work. Easily adjust the height with an accessible adjustment lever on either side of the table. Two locking casters offer mobility so you can place it wherever you'd like, and the non-skid rubber feet provide stability.

Q: Is the height mechanism electronic or manual?

A: The adjustable height mechanism is a gas lift. (similar to an office chair) When you lift the lever the top will go up or down depending on if you are lifting or putting weight on the tabletop to go down.

I don't know why this desk is not rated better. It's a very nice desk and was easy to assemble and I am not handy in the least.

Great Value!
For the money I love this desk. It is exactly like the one I saw at the container store but only about half of the price and the desktop is not white! I put it together myself in less than 15 minutes and it is sturdy and works great. I have two monitors and a keyboard on the desktop and still have plenty of room. So glad the Container Store was out of stock!

Do not buy! Junk~
Received desk attempted to put it together. 1-there were no instructions, diagrams only so it was very difficult to know what parts went where. 2-the legs were different heights. We did everything to the extent to taking the legs apart and one of them is stuck and will not adjust. Called customer service, explained to them desk is defective so they sent a replacement. The same thing happened with the 2nd desk. Returning item. Piece of junk!

Doesn't Adjust in Size
I got a defective item. One of the leg was designed incorrectly and therefore it does not adjust in size. Called the company to see if they could send me just the leg that I need, but no answer. Now I will have to go through the pain of repacking and returning the entire item

Really happy with this desk so far
This desk is just the right depth for a laptop stand and keyboard. The height adjustment is smooth. Assembly was quick and easy. Looks pretty good. I keep it raised to about waist level with a tall bar stool underneath in case I want to sit.
