I love this line of pastas from Good & Gather, and this one was no exception. The pastas are much larger than the traditional penne you see, but still has a good bite and the grooves holds the sauces well.

This pasta is great but the package is bizarrely hard to open! The paper label covers the seams and it has metal grommets holding it on, so it’s hard to open up the plastic packaging.

I bought this because I was looking for a bold pasta to take the place of lasagna noodles pieces in a lasagna soup recipe. I like the thickness of the cooked tubes - good structure and thickness, and the inside of the tubes has room for other ingredients of the soup to hang out in. Give these a try in the Cooking Classy Lasagna Soup recipe. Thank you to the packaging designers and graphic design teams on this new brand - I love seeing this beautiful clean design in my pantry. Best branded private label grocery I've seen in a long time.
