Q: How long is the liquid form good for once opened?
A:Â No longer than 48 hours after opened and left refrigerated. You will defiantly go through it faster than 48 hours though.
submitted byMonikajames09 - 6 years agoA:Â The bottle says to discard after 72 hours of refrigeration, but we have found that we go through the milk even before those 72 hours are up. Our now 6 month old used to wake up every two hours as a newborn to feed and, even with that, we went through a 32 ounce bottle within a day and a half.
submitted byTinkerbell - 7 years agoA:Â Instructions on the bottle state to use the liquid within 48 hours of opening and to keep the bottle refrigerated after opening.
submitted byMama - 7 years agoA:Â 48 hours if kept in the fridge. One hour if left out at room temperature/once the baby starts drinking the bottle
submitted bykati4585 - 7 years agoA:Â 24-30 hours in fridge

Q: How long will this keep unopened? I am buying before baby is born.
A:Â The bottles are clearly marked with expiration dates that apply to unopened bottles. However, I would not advise buying this unless you know your baby needs it. It's a specific formula designed for infants with allergies, and it's likely a waste of your money if your baby doesn't actually have allergies.
submitted byAMom - 4 years agoA:Â Each bottle has an expiration date and dates vary but they should be good for roughly 1 year. The bottles are good for 48 hours once open but they go fast especially if baby likes to eat.

Q: Can you freeze the formula? I only want to use it if the Babysitter needs to feed my baby and I can’t get home in time. I don’t want to buy a whole can because I don’t think I will need it.
A:Â Unfortunately you can not freeze formula. Once it's opened it has to be used within 48 hours and must be refrigerated. There are smaller cans available that won't go to so much waste.
