A: 6 liters is equal to 1.5 us gallons, a 13-gallon bag would be too big for this unit. A grocery size bag would work.

Excellent Small Bin
This bin was purchased be cause I had converted a room for a small kitchen.’This bin holds any door and the quality of the bin and bin bag help retain and refuse like tea leaves perfectly.I always use Simplehuman for bins and even my small rose gold mirror to put on my make up as I’m 60 and need assurance to see where I’m placing product.

It's a bin, it's white (with a chrome lid) but you knew that from the photo. It opens and close and contains the rubbish I put in it until it's over half full, when I choose to empty it. There you go, what more can I say?

Small and practical!
I purchased this bin for my bathroom and it is just the right size and shape. The quality of all simplehuman bins is excellent! It's soft close and rust proof too! I have this bin in 2 of my bathrooms. Definitely recommend!

Lid doesn’t open very wide and the bin moves about quite a bit on our wooden floor each time you stand on the pedal compared to our last similar sized ‘cheapie’ stainless steel bin which means it needs to be repositioned quite often. Overall it’s ok, bit lightweight, nothing special.

Simple human trash cans are generally excellent trash cans, but I ordered this online from Target and it arrived loose in the box with numerous other items and was all scuffed up which is annoying. If I wanted an ugly, scuffed up trash can I could have gotten one from the goodwill for less than 1/10th of the price.

Perfect for my bathroom
This can is perfect for my bathroom. It’s size, shape and finish make it functional and easy to use. It’s great that it is pedal operated and the lid closes slowly so it makes minimal noise. I wanted a lid on the can for so many reasons and the quiet close is an unanticipated and very welcome feature!!!

Disappointed
The quality of the cans were nowhere near what I would expect from Simple Human brand products. The lid didn’t line up with the can and just overall poor craftsmanship. I contacted Simple Human via text. I received a reply letting me know someone would respond to my issue within 1 business day. It’s been 2 business days and I still haven’t heard back from them.

Just what I expected
Just redid my kitchen, laundry room and 2 bathrooms. They are all supplied with their own step can. No odors, no smudges. They couldn't be better. One of them (different shape) even has a reservoir for bags inside the receptacle.

Good purchase
As far as garbage cans go this is a nice model. The open/close mechanism is smooth. I like the matte black color. Using in our bathroom and hoping it’s large enough. I’m glad I bought the liners that fit the container because there isn’t lots of plastic hanging outside of it. I have had good luck with simplehuman products!
