I spend an average of a week a month on the trip and it is a new necessity for me. I hate working with melted ice, but you don’t have to. Ensuring cooked meals and restaurant leftovers are kept at food-safe temperatures saves us many times over on chiller costs. Br less than br less than br it’s hard to find the right temperature, but I chose 28-30 degrees fahrenheit. This temperature is enough to freeze the ice pack when the car engine is off. Soda water doesn’t freeze, but it almost doesn’t freeze. The tomatoes and pickles in the sandwich also didn’t freeze. The size is perfect.

It’s easy to carry if you don’t fill it with heavy bottles. I wish it had wheels to make transport easier. The cord storage is too tight, making it hard to fit both cords back into the compartment.

I purchased this cooler for a camping trip. Did a test at home, I put an already cold 6-pack of soda into the cooler and measured the inside air temperature with an NTC probe in a 70 degree room. Cooled it down to 35 degrees within 3 hours. A tip to stow the charging cords: Don’t wind them up outside and then try to push them inside the space. Instead, push the cords inside all the way to the "wall", one loop at a time. That way all the space is used and the cords have enough room. And be gentle with the cover flap, if you force it shut to squeeze the cords, the hinge pins WILL break.

I just took this on a road trip from Northern California to Oregon. It kept my food cold while driving up Highway 5 in 110° weather and at the various places I stayed on the way and while there. It also fits nicely behind the driver’s seat in my car. I couldn’t hear it at all over the AC that was blasting, and in fact it’s pretty quiet regardless.

Ours arrived just in time before Hurricane Milton. We plugged it in to test it the day before the storm, and it chilled quickly—worked great! We even put in a couple of mini frozen water bottles, and they stayed frozen for a while. Took it on a 10-day road trip, and it was perfect for keeping our dogs' fresh food, sandwiches, and drinks cool. The dual plugs (car and home) make it so versatile, and the carry handle makes it easy to transport. Highly recommend!

We purchased this one because of the 110 plug. Works great. We have it plugged into a surge protector that pulls from our invertor. Doesn’t ice up. Keeps everything cool. Super quiet. Have not tried the heat feature. Love it so far!
