The heater itself looks and feels well built and feels very sturdy.

Although the copper wire was significantly more expensive to purchase than the heater itself, it was simple to install. It generates a lot of heat and functions flawlessly. maintains the desired constant temperature of 55 degrees in my garage.

Overall I’m happy with it and the ability to turn it on from my house and let it preheat before I head over to the building is invaluable.

For the price, this heater is good. It was necessary for us to hire an electrician to hardwire and install a 220 hookup. The fact that I can operate it with a remote is nice. I was able to mount it on the ceiling as a result. Unlike conventional space heaters, it doesn’t occupy any of my valuable space and seems to warm me up more quickly. My 10x12 shed heats up quickly and quite quietly. I don’t need anything else for heating. For me, it went really well!

First off, although electric heat is 99% efficient at conversion, it is rather costly. With a comparatively short recovery time after the door is opened, this larger model easily heats a two-car garage. If you haven’t done so already, insulate your doors. A permit was needed to install this 240V heater (national code requirement, but feel free to do as you please). Instructions state that the 50-amp breaker for the 10kw model must be hardwired and that a plug whip should not be added. You might feel comfortable doing that with the smaller units.

This is a really well-made device with a sturdy steel casing and good features like a timer and digital display. Both lag and concrete expansion bolts are included, along with a sturdy mounting bracket that can be adjusted to some extent. However, depending on where you mount it, the lag bolts might be too short.
