Doctor Halepota has written a fascinating history of one of the world's oldest, continually practiced ways of life. The Sindhi community's contribution to culture and science is underappreciated. This book does a wonderful job of presenting a clear, understandable history of impressive accomplishments as well as a history of persecution that continues to this day. As a westerner who is fascinated by this region of the world, I now understand so much more and have a new understanding of its history. Thank you, Doctor Halepota, for this history and making it a great read. -David Schweikert, United States Congressman, Arizona
