Not manufactured properly.
Stool is beautiful, but I had to return it. The hardware does not go into the chair properly. I have built many pieces of furniture, and this one if flawed. The bolts do not go in smoothly, as if, the holes were machined wrong. It took over three hours of trying to finally giving up and returning it.

Faulty Fabric - Sturdy Construction
I have 3 of these. They are an amazing plum color, sturdy and easy to assemble. In 2 of 3 of them the fabric has lines or scratches in it, right out of the box. It is not pretty, but too big of a hassle to send them back.
