A Smith & Nephew Allevyn Foam Dressing has an absorbent hydrocellular pad with a non-adhesive contact layer to protect wounds. Its breathable top film keeps the wound area moist to create an environment that promotes healing. The Allevyn non-adhesive dressing has an outer polyurethane top film that's breathable. This also prevents bacteria from entering and causing infections.It won't stick to the treated area, which prevents a reopening of the wound. Each 2-inch x 2-inch foam dressing has a highly absorbent hydrocellular foam core to help soak up fluids exuded by the wound. It's also suitable for use on sensitive skin.
