Description
Whether it's time for a holiday feast or any other occasion, this Smoked Honey Half Ham from Market Pantry™ is sure to be a crowd pleaser. This fully-cooked ham includes a glaze packet so every bite is as delicious as the last. Cut in spiral pieces, this half ham with natural juices goes well with a variety of sides for a great holiday dinner, and you can also use it to make standout sandwiches.
Directions
Heat
1. Preheat oven to 275F. Remove all wrapping from ham, including plastic disk on the cut side of ham. Place ham in a roasting pan, cut side down. Cover pan with foil.
2. Heat 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until heated through. (Estimate 10 to 12 minutes per pound.)
Glaze
1. After ham is heated, increase oven temperature to 425F.
2. Mix contents of glaze packet and 2 Tbsp. hot water in small bowl.
3. Brush glaze over ham and between slices, then return uncovered to oven for 8 minutes until glazed.
Carve
Cut along the center bone and natural seams of the ham to remove meat in sections. Separate into slices; place on serving plate.
Storage
Refrigerate leftovers immediately in a tightly wrapped or sealed container.
When properly stored, leftovers may be kept in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.

Low and slow .
I cook . I bake . This ham was wonderful . The fatty parts you actually do want as it coats and protects the inner layer . Cook it low and slow . Take your time. The fatty parts melts into the layers of ham even without the glaze . I use the glaze for chicken wings . I wish they would have it year round . For sandwiches, heat the ham with the fat, in the microwave on 50% power , and covered . Add cheese slices after the ham is done . Usually 4 minutes for 4 minutes on 50 % . The Market Pantry Spiral-Cut Bone-In Ham was delicious and a superb value at $0.99/lb. As noted by a Consumer Reports panel that rated this ham their favorite, this ham was also attractive. I ordered a ham for pickup the day before Easter. However, I ended up adding a ham to other items in my shopping cart when I encountered a line of 3 people at the return desk with the pickup desk closed. I just decided it would be silly to wait in line when there were still 7 hams available; and I needed to go through a checkout lane anyway. I would still order it online to avoid any chance of a sellout.

I LOVE it for cold sandwiches, and at a price less than baloney, it is crazy not to get this whenever they have it in stock. TOTALLY WORTH IT, but you may have to cut slices yourself as the spiral slicing sometimes stops halfway down.
