Snowden (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital)

I bought this movie for myself originally after seeing it in the theater. This is based on the true story about Snowden. I had heard some news accounts, but our news has not done unbiased reports for quite awhile. This is a must see movie in my opinion. I would recommend seeing it more than once because you will pick up on more things each time that you see it. I appreciated the interview done on the Blue Ray/DVD extras too. I ended up buying another copy of the movie for my Dad (it was on sale and with my Red card it shipped free). Synopsis: Snowden, the politically-charged, pulse-pounding thriller reveals the incredible untold personal story of Edward Snowden, the polarizing figure who exposed shocking illegal surveillance activities by the NSA and became one of the most wanted men in the world. He is considered a hero by some, and a traitor by others. No matter which you believe, the epic story of why he did it, who he left behind, and how he pulled it off makes for one of the most compelling films of the year. I realize this is not an objective portrayal of the real facts, but the media didn't really report everything without bias either. That said I thought this was a really good movie. I've had my suspicions for quite awhile and this movie confirms them. Anyone who wonders if big brother is watching or listening to you go see this movie. Anyone that wants to see an interesting drama go see this. There are several people that you will recognize in this movie and they all do a great job portraying their characters. I'll be adding this one to my collection when it comes out on DVD

Great Great suspense flick and it will have you on the edge of your seat guessing the entire time. A must watch for thrill dealers.

Really enjoyed this movie.. Was very pleased at the price that Target sold it for.
