This soap is extremely watery, not the usual gel-like consistency of hand soap. It hardly stays on your hands to scrub with.

Softsoap is on clearance in so many stores because their products are full of sulfates and behemtrimonium chloride (antibacterial products) and are extremely irritating and drying. I’m sorry I purchased this product and ended up donating it along with their body washes. Too harsh.

Sensitive skin folks, be aware that antibacterial soaps are likely to have irritating ingredients that nonantibacterial soaps do not! Unfortunately, Target is really pushing Softsoap's antibacterial offerings (that's all my local store sells), but it's not worth the eczema flare, let me tell ya. For anyone else who is curious what "crisp clean" scent is like: I was drawn in by the citrus imagery and, I'll be honest, that's what I was hoping for. I know, I know, naive. This unfortunately does not smell like a grapefruit, an orange, or a lemon; it smells like a pediatrician's office. But maybe that scent will evoke some lovely nostalgia for you! It's a very clean smell! It's not bad, just...not what I'd want to have lingering on my hands for quite some time after I was them (and let me tell ya, this does). But again, maybe it's a smell you'll love! On the plus side, this soap is certainly a very pretty color!

I should’ve listened when I saw reviews about it being watered down. It is also too heavily fragranced and smells artificial. Although it’s a good price, I end up pumping more each use, adding more of the fragrance I don’t like.

I love this hand soap. It doesn't break the bank, smells great, and my hands feel clean after every use without feeling like they're too dry.

This hand soap is great! It cleans my hands without being harsh and drying my skin. I also like their kitchen formula as well! Although, you cannot find them everywhere.
