About the Book

My Sacred Journey from the Shadows to the Light

Book Synopsis

Marcia's life began in a beautiful yet suffocating confines of a fundamentalist religious cult, where rigid doctrine, fear, and unrelenting control overshadowed childhood innocence. At eighteen, she fled with ninety dollars and a burning need to breathe freely, determined to build a life beyond the cage she'd known.

What unfolded was an extraordinary thirty-five-year journey through the high-pressure world of financial services and consulting. From bank teller to senior partner at top firms, Marcia became known as the "Velvet Hammer"-a leader who blended fierce results with genuine heart. Yet beneath the triumphs ran a persistent ache: the lingering wounds of her upbringing and an underlying desire for something more meaningful.

Through decades of searching, spiritual exploration, and courageous surrender, Marcia unraveled layers of conditioning rooted in fear, shame, and limitation. She discovered the liberating truth: if it isn't love, it is fear.

SoulFullJoy is both a deeply personal memoir and a compassionate guide for anyone who has ever felt trapped-by rigid beliefs, corporate pressure, past trauma, or the relentless inner critic.

With vulnerability and warmth, she offers tools, reflections, and gentle encouragement for anyone:

- navigating the exhaustion and emptiness of corporate life

- healing from fear-based religion or oppressive upbringings

- longing to live with more love, presence, abundance, and authentic joy

This is a story of breaking free-not just from external cages, but from the inner ones we carry longest. It is proof that healing is possible, and that every soul is already whole, already loved, already enough.

Marcia's journey reminds us: the path to light is not found by escaping shadows-it is found by walking through them with an open heart.

Let her courage, clarity, and radiant joy light your own way home.
