About the Author

holds a degree in astrophysics and space physics from Sapienza University in Rome, as well as honorary degrees in environmental studies and international affairs. She is a professor of practice of space economy at SDA Bocconi School of Management, where she directs the Space Economy Evolution Lab (SEE Lab). She is also a visiting professor at New York University Abu Dhabi. Her previous roles include Director of Human Spaceflight at the European Space Agency, Director of Universe Observation at the Italian Space Agency, and Director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs.
