permanent case?
this case blows man. i wanted to pair my airpods to a new device so i attempted to remove the case and it ended up being an impossible task. i tried heating it up, a screwdriver, pushing from the bottom using a charger, a knife, anything i could find. wouldn’t budge. ended up using a SAW to remove the case (which wasn’t easy) and have now left my AirPods charging case permanently damaged. i’m furious and will never be purchasing a speck product for my airpods again.

Extremely negligent product
It is actually negligent for Target and Speck to keep selling this case. As others have said, you cannot remove this case after putting it on and it blocks some of the functionality of the AirPods. I have damaged my AirPod pros after very carefully trying to remove this case for hours. Unbelievable

Please Do Not Buy
Unless you are 100 percent sure you’ll keep this case on forever, do not buy it. I spent about 2 hours trying to remove itwith various tools like tweezers, screwdrivers, pliers, and even tried warming it up with a hairdryer. I had to put on a set of gloves as I was getting cut up so badly from the plastic bits. I also damaged the AirPods case itself trying to remove the plastic one. I’ve never taken the time to write a review on here, but I feel strongly compelled to warn others about this case. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

Worst casing!
I will give negative star if I could! This ruined my airpods actual case while trying to remove it. It’s impossible to take it off and you can’t even connect it to other devices coz the button isn’t accessible with this casing! Airpods can’t be cleaned! Furious about this casing. Whoever made this is so dumb!

DO NOT BUY THIS CASE
This case is absolutely awful. I had no choice but to have my husband cut it off with pliers, which scratched my brand new AirPods. The fact that the case completely covers the pairing button is ridiculous. You cannot pair to a new device without taking the case off. I wasted $25 on this piece of junk and ended up damaging $200 AirPods because of it. I am furious and completely disappointed.

Buyer Beware
It is very difficult to get off- if this case is planned to be your only case then this case is perfect for you. It's super tight fitted and does not risk the chance of falling off. It took me 30 mins to remove so I can swap it for a different case that I actually wanted. I do like that this case is sleek and it felt very protected but keep in mind once you put it on you probably won't be able to take it back off. Returning it immediately.

Stuck like glue by sugarland
LISTEN TO EVERYONE ELSE. once it is one IT NEVER COMES OFF. I broke a nail and somehow left a HUGE bruise in the palm of my hand trying to get it out. I realized I SHOULDNT HAVE TO BREAK MY NEW AIRPODS TO GET THEM OUT. LISTEN TO EVERYONE. IF YOU DONT WANT THEM TO EVER COME OUT THEN THIS IS PERFECT! ALSO? I paid $26 for it in store! How to remove
If this is stuck for you, use the base of a butter knife covered in a towel and push your AirPods out through the charging port. Absolutely terrible design, QA, and product management all around. Fat L for the Speck team, damaged my AirPods trying to get this out.

Probably the worst designed case I've ever seen
I'm not sure if the engineers behind this case used AI to get through their degree but this is by far the worst case I've ever used. Because of the circular carabiner hooks for the case, you can't open your airpods, unless the carabiner is angled a certain way. You also can't reconnect the airpods to any other devices since the case BLOCKS the circular button. It's almost as if they completely disregarded the button. Most of all, this case is insanely hard to take off without damaging your actual airpods. Do yourself a favor and return these if you buy them.

You cannot get this thing off it. You will possibly damage your AirPods, trying to get it off.It presses in the button that connects to your phone re seeing your AirPods unsearchable. It’s too rigid, not safe and a waste of money and plastic.

Hate it. Awful. Lost my fingers trying to remove.
Hate it. This case is not compatible with AirPods as advertised. The case blocks access to the pairing button on the back of the AirPod case and is impossible to remove.
